“Legend of the slain lamb” is a story about Lamberto, a kindhearted lion who is not happy with the killing of innocent animals by predators. He wants the killings to stop but has no clue as to how that can be done until he hears about the ‘Lake of Wonders.’ He uses the powers of the lake to transfigure himself into a lamb. But though that does stop the killing of animals, it also opens the way for the Snake Anacondia to kill Lamberto, the lamb. Then something really bizarre happens wherein Lamberto emerges as the Victor in the ongoing tussle.

Synopsis Retelling the Story of God by : Scott Allen Davis
People in our culture today desperately need explanations for the big questions of life: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going? People in the twentieth century concluded that God did not exist, so the vastness of the universe and the finitude of man came together to create a crisis of existence for them. Their skepticism has been passed on to those of us who live in the twenty-first century, so that crisis is still with us. The great questions still demand answers, but none will be forthcoming until we begin to see our existence in light of the existence of God and His story.

Synopsis Mary's Story by : Sylvia Zitek
Mary, the mother of Jesus, played an intimate role in the life of the Son of God. From the womb to the conquered grave, her experiences must have been at times uplifting and disheartening, enriching and alienating, comforting and challenging, joyful and grievous, reassuring and frightening-the list of contending emotions and experiences can go on indefinitely. In Mary's Story author Sylvia Zitek portrays the life and experiences of Mary. How did Mary's family and community view and treat her when they found out she was with child as an engaged woman? What were her joys and fears as she spent nine months awaiting the baby's arrival? What were her thoughts and feelings when she had to give birth in a stable? How did she sleep at night knowing there was always someone seeking the life of Jesus? Later in her life, when Jesus truly began His ministry, how did Mary feel having to let go? Surely it was not something she readily accepted and understood overnight. What was Mary's journey as she struggled to understand the reality of Jesus' ministry and destiny against the backdrop of the commonly held views about the Messiah of her day and the teachings of the religious leaders? Did she wrestle with watching Jesus live and minister in ways she probably did not expect? Put yourself in Mary's position, and you will find yourself contemplating your own relationship with God and your own understanding of Jesus' life and death. When Jesus entered the picture, Mary's life was never the same again, even if it turned out drastically different than she probably ever expected.

Synopsis Revelation's Great Love Story by : Larry L. Lichtenwalter
The Book of Revelation. The Apocalypse. Words that often call to mind bizarre creatures, strange seals, dreadful plagues, and a slew of other mystifying symbols. Most of us approach this last book of the Bible with forebodings rather than hope. To us John?s vision seems more like a nightmare. But the elderly apostle begins with a statement that doesn?t seem to fit the rest of the book: ?The revelation of Jesus Christ.? Apparently he intends to unveil something tremendously important about Jesus. Something life-changing. Something we can?t afford to miss.Larry Lichtenwalter explores a side of Revelation seldom portrayed: Christ?s passionate love for humanity. This recurring theme subtly appears in the imagery and symbolism throughout John?s vision. The slain Lamb. The divine protective sealing. The blood-bleached-white robes. The heart-wrenching prayer of the saints. Without Christ?s love, these scenes and symbols would mean nothing.Ultimately John?s vision reveals the extraordinary love of our Savior for His rebellious, undeserving children?and the incredible reasons we can love Him in return.
