Synopsis Journey Into Chastity, Book One by : Stanley Jeffries

John is a college student currently separated from his fiance Laura, while she begins a hot sexual affair with her roommate Christine. Though John is anxious to have Laura back, with Christine now a permanent fixture in Laura's life, the terms of the relationship are about to radically change. Either John agrees to be submissive in a menage a trois with two dominant females, or he's out. Eager to stay in Laura's good graces John agrees to anything, including public humiliation, panty wearing, and Laura's unique punishment for unauthorized masturbation: a locking chastity device. She tricks him into putting it on, not telling him that Christine has the keys. Later he learns from Christine that a key has been hidden in his weekend bag all along. But now, the demanding Christine wants him to consciously choose to remain in chastity! John can't help wonder who's running the relationship, Laura or Christine? As the two femmes take charge, John is trained to serve their every whim, to call them mistress, and play their humiliating sexual games. When he fails to please this daunting duo, he suffers a variety of painful punishments from bondage to whipping to being sodomized with a strap-on. Despite the rough demands of his new life, John finds his surrendering role strangely pleasing, and highly erotic. All misgivings aside, he's still in love with Laura, and willing to slavishly serve both women in order to have her. But how long can this strange menage a trois survive? Will John ever have Laura to himself again? Is Christine really falling in love with him? Although John's journey into chastity has just begun, it's certain to take some curious twists as these two lovely, in charge females turn this wary college boy into their groveling slave.

Synopsis THE "UNCONSCIOUS" TRILOGY: The Interpretation of Dreams, Psychopathology of Everyday Life & Wit and Its Relation to the Unconscious by : Sigmund Freud

The Interpretation of Dreams is a book in which Freud introduces his theory of the unconscious with respect to dream interpretation, and also first discusses what would later become the theory of the Oedipus complex, and it is widely considered one of his most important works. Dreams, in Freud's view, are all forms of wish fulfillment"— attempts by the unconscious to resolve a conflict of some sort, whether something recent or something from the recesses of the past. Psychopathology of Everyday Life is a work based on Freud's researches into slips and parapraxes from 1897 onwards, one which became perhaps the best-known of all his writings. Sometimes called the Mistake Book, the work became one of the scientific classics of the 20th century. Through its stress on what Freud called "switch words" and "verbal bridges", it is considered important for psychopathology. Jokes and Their Relation to the Unconscious is a book on the psychoanalysis of jokes and humor. In this work, Freud described the psychological processes and techniques of jokes, which he likened as similar to the processes and techniques of dream-work and the Unconscious. Freud claims that our enjoyment of the joke indicates what is being repressed in more serious talk. Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) was an Austrian neurologist and the father of psychoanalysis, a clinical method for treating psychopathology through dialogue between a patient and a psychoanalyst. In creating psychoanalysis, Freud developed therapeutic techniques such as the use of free association and discovered transference, establishing its central role in the analytic process.

A gripping Arthurian adventure of clashing swords and hearts, perfect for fans of Bernard Cornwell and Judith Tarr. King Arthur lies dead, struck down along with Mordred, his son and heir, and the greatest knights of Camelot. Of that peerless company, only Lancelot survives, a broken man who has turned his back on Britain and his forbidden love of Guinevere. Yet one knight, scarcely more than a boy, fights amid the ruins to keep Arthur’s dream alive: Galahad, the son of Lancelot. Before his death, Arthur swore the young knight to undertake a quest: a search for the scattered treasures of an ancient king. On the recovery of these powerful relics – a grail, a spear, and a sword – hinges the future of Britain. But it is the past that torments Galahad. He cannot forget or forgive his father’s betrayal of his king. Nor can he banish thoughts of the intoxicating Dandrane, sister of his friend Percival, from his mind. But can he set all this aside in order to complete his sacred task? Weaving back and forth through time, from Arthur’s mighty reign to Galahad’s ultimate quest to preserve the destiny of a nation, The Grail Prince is an unforgettable epic of adventure and romance.

Synopsis The Ozark Trilogy by : Suzette Haden Elgin

The Ozark Trilogy (previously published in 1981, Doubleday) is a widely acclaimed fantasy/science fiction story with, as the title suggests, very strong ties to the Ozark region. Twelve Fair Kingdoms, The Grand Jubilee, And Then There'll Be Fireworks--the books that comprise the trilogy--chronicle life on the planet Ozark and its Confederation of Continents, which are appropriately named Arkansaw, Oklahomah, Mizzurah, Tinaseeh, Kintucky, and Marktwain. However, the story told here involves much more than a mere transplant of Ozark culture and heritage onto a new planet. While this new Ozark culture maintains and even intensifies many of the "real" Ozark traditions and customs (for instance, "Grannys" hold significant, stabilizing social roles and are important sources of wisdom), the planet Ozark combines many new, fantastical elements with traditional ways. Mules on Ozark fly, and the wise "Grannys" also work magic. The protagonist of The Ozark Trilogy, Responsible of Brightwater, appears at the center of Ozark society, a society she must save from evil magic, civil war, and, ultimately, alien invasion. As Responsible travels from continent to continent in an attempt to discover and squelch the evil magic and calm the civil unrest, we are witness to many dangerous and sometimes comical adventures along the way, including a spectacular flying Mule crash and a magic duel with a Granny gone bad. Elgin has created a fantastic world infused with the folk traditions, social and familial hierarchies, and traditional dialect of the Ozarks. While parallels might be drawn between, for example, the break-up of the Confederacy of Continents on planet Ozark and the American Civil War, Elgin comments on aspects of Ozark history and tradition in a non didactic way. The trilogy, with its strong heroine and witty engagement of tradition, is a classic of Ozark literature.
