It’s been two full years since Koutarou first started at Harukaze High as a freshman and a battle for his apartment turned his life upside down. A lot has changed since then. His former rivals are now his closest friends, and they’ve even added a few new faces to the group. Revisiting things like the inter-club obstacle marathon during the sports festival as third-years is going to be a wild ride, compounded even further by the danger lurking just around the corner...

Shizuka and Ruth finally have their fated showdown?! Then, in a very special Harumi feature, we get a glimpse into what life would be like between Harumi and Koutarou if they started dating.

With one of their own in trouble, Koutarou and the others are left reeling. Clan thinks she may have gotten to the bottom of things, but if what she says is true, the crisis they now face has been in the making for thousands of years. But the surprises are far from over there. A strange message for Koutarou could mean a tentative new alliance with a most unexpected partner. With Forthorthe on the verge of erupting into civil war like it hasn’t seen for thousands of years, Elfaria and the others do what they can to regain the trust of the citizens. Koutarou at last makes his return to Forthorthe, although it’s not in a very glorious fashion. Stranded on Planet Alaia with Theia and Yurika, he’ll have to figure out a way to use the limited resources they have to get past the imperial troops everywhere if he ever hopes to make it back to safety and the rest of their friends. Fate has a few familiar twists in store, however, as the coup d’état gets off to an ugly start and their enemies show their true colors.

Now that Koutarou and company are back from their long journey to Forthorthe, everyone is hoping to settle back down into their normal, peaceful lives. Things are quickly thrown off course, however, when Theia, Ruth, and Clan show up with a little extra baggage and Koutarou suddenly finds himself in the midst of intergalactic negotiations. Has the real alien invasion just now begun? And what’s with the strange voice Sanae keeps hearing? Moreover, what’s got Clan so pensive?

It turns out the timid, polite Harumi has a secret admiration for the way Kiriha teases Koutarou, so she does the unthinkable—she asks Kiriha to teach her how to become a bad girl too! In the next story, Clan also asks for something a little unusual. She starts martial arts training under Koutarou and Shizuka, but is she really up to the task when she can barely handle her own feelings? Next, there’s a surprise royal visitor to room 106, and Sanae, Yurika, and Maki decide it’s time for a makeover of magical proportions. Finally, it’s time for the Kisshouharukaze school field trip, complete with surprise confession!

Nana comes to Clan, Harumi, and Theia for maintenance, but it turns out each of the girls has something they want to improve on. After Alunaya sees a commercial involving hot spring eggs on TV, he wants to visit a hot spring to try some. He and Shizuka go together with Ruth and Kiriha on a weekend getaway. Sanae and Theia get competitive over a local eating contest, and if there’s food involved, Koutarou and Yurika are never far behind. And then Yurika has to study for an exam?!

With things slowly shifting in their favor, the Reborn Forthorthian Army might finally be able to expose Vandarion for the traitor that he is. When backed into a corner, however, Vandarion reveals just how cruel he can be as his rage, his hatred, and his desperation push him to the brink of sanity. In their toughest fight yet, Koutarou and the girls will have old tricks, their friends, and even their own weapons used against them.

After getting back from Forthorthe, everyone was hoping they could spend their days in peace for a change. But as if the politics of the official Forthorthian invasion weren’t enough, something very strange and very unsettling is starting to happen around Koutarou and the girls. One mysterious disappearance becomes two, and there’s no clear cause or end in sight. Can they figure out what’s going on in time, or will Koutarou end up just like he was in the beginning—alone?
