Directory which identifies and describes databases in machine-readable format created and produced in Canada, covering all subject areas. Databases are arranged alphabetically by name and include content and scope, type, subject, coverage, language, time span, updating frequency, producer, online or batch service, and special conditions if relevant. Indexes are included by subject, producer, online and offline service vendors, and a master list of database names, former names, abbreviations and acronyms.

Includes, beginning Sept. 15, 1954 (and on the 15th of each month, Sept.-May) a special section: School library journal, ISSN 0000-0035, (called Junior libraries, 1954-May 1961). Also issued separately.
