Synopsis Sonoma League for Historic Preservation Survey by : Diana J. Painter

The Sonoma League for Historic Preservation survey update was conceived ty Patricia Cullinan and colleagues from the Sonoma League in 2011 to update the League's survey records from the initial 1978-79 survey and assist with preservation efforts, particularly with advising members of the public, the City of Sonoma, and Sonoma County by providing accurage information about Sonoma Valley's historic resources. A grant to undertake Phase I of the project, the survey, was awarded in 2012, and the first tasks were undertaken in June of 2012. The survey update resurveyed 250 properties and completed 50 Calif. Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) historic resource forms for resources in the Sonoma Valley.
