My satisfaction is blended with sincere gratitude for the patriotic sympathy and generous help to which such measure of success as I have attained has been largely due. From the first announcement of my purpose, suggestions, reminders, references flowed in upon me from near and far. I was thus often brought within reach of information that would otherwise have remained hidden from me.
