Hearing God Through Physical Disorders is written to educate and inspire readers to take charge of their health and listen to what God is telling them about their spiritual lives. As a pastor over churches and pastors, this book is a must-read. In this book Pastor Frost gives the answer to so many questions that pastors have.Dr. Ann L. Hardman, Ann Hardman Ministries I was introduced to nurse Fred Frost and Pastor Fred Frost during late nights on duty in the ER. As medical co-workers and more so as fellow brothers in Christ, I can say Fred is the real deal as a nurse and as a believer in Christ. This fascinating book could only be possible from a man who lives the life Fred lives. He knows medical pathology, and he knows the Lord Jesus. Hes crafted a very insightful work, using one of Gods most amazing creations, the human body, to teach invaluable spiritual principles for those who desire to honor God with their lives. Its worth reading!Dr. James Dell Crosby, M.D., Bullock County Hospital, Medical Director of Mercy Medical Ministry Pastor Fred Frost is uniquely gifted with special motivation and powerful insight as a result of many outstanding years of pastoral care and hospital emergency room health care. Its amazing how he combines his pastoral and medical experiences and studies to produce such a book with both sound biblical and proven medical treatment. Experiences of hearing the voice of God (or angels, demons, or other spiritual beings) have generally been understood either as religious experiences or else as a feature of mental illness. Some critics of traditional religious faith have dismissed the visions and voices attributed to biblical characters and saints as evidence of mental disorder. However, it is now known that many ordinary people, with no other evidence of mental disorder, also hear voices and that these voices not infrequently include spiritual or religious content. Psychological and interdisciplinary research has shed a revealing light on these experiences in recent years, so that we now know much more about the phenomenon of "hearing voices" than ever before. The present work considers biblical, historical, and scientific accounts of spiritual and mystical experiences of voice hearing in the Christian tradition in order to explore how some voices may be understood theologically as revelatory. It is proposed that in the incarnation, Christian faith finds both an understanding of what it is to be fully human (a theological anthropology), and God’s perfect self-disclosure (revelation). Within such an understanding, revelatory voices represent a key point of interpersonal encounter between human beings and God.

Synopsis Emotionally Free by : Grant Mullen M. D.

Are you struggling to control your thoughts, moods, and emotions? Are you tired of always living with a sense of spiritual defeat? God wants us to be more than saved. He wants us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Emotionally Free will show you how you can be transformed in body, soul, and spirit. As a Christian mental health physician, Dr. Grant Mullen has observed the constant struggle that so many Christians live with every day. Many churches rarely acknowledge this struggle. Through patient interviews and his own journey, Dr. Mullen found three links in the chain of emotional bondage that keep Christians bound spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Emotionally Free describes those three links and how with God's help we can be set free to live a transformed and victorious life. Learn how to assess your thoughts, personality, and spirit. Emotionally Free puts an end to the unnecessary competition that has existed among psychiatry, counselors, and deliverance ministers. These are important complimentary ministries that we all need. This book explains the role of each and how to know when you need them. You will also learn how depression, anxiety, and mood swings affect Christians in a unique way, and you will be able to assess your own moods and determine if you need medical treatment. Reach a greater understanding of where your spiritual authority comes from and how to use it to set yourself and others free. No matter how suffocating your bondage is now, God is waiting and willing to set you free. Dr. Mullen clearly outlines steps to invite the Holy Spirit into the problem to heal and restore you. Discover a new freedom in your mind, attitudes, reactions, and relationships as you become Emotionally Free. Dr. Grant Mullen is a mental health physician in Ontario, Canada. He writes and lectures internationally on how medical treatment, deliverance and the healing of our emotional wounds all work together to break the chains of emotional bondage. Synopsis Habits of Grace by : David Mathis

The Christian life is built on three seemingly unremarkable practices: reading the Bible, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. However, according to David Mathis, such “habits of grace” are the God-designed channels through which his glorious grace flows—making them life-giving practices for all Christians. Whether it’s hearing God’s voice (the Word), having his ear (prayer), or participating in his body (fellowship), such spiritual rhythms of the Christian life have the power to awaken our souls to God’s glory and stir our hearts for lifelong service in his name. What’s more, these seemingly simple practices grant us access to a host of spiritual blessings that we can only begin to imagine this side of eternity—and the incredible joy that such blessings bring to God’s children today.

A compassionate, shame-free guide for your darkest days “A one-of-a-kind book . . . to read for yourself or give to a struggling friend or loved one without the fear that depression and suicidal thoughts will be minimized, medicalized or over-spiritualized.”—Kay Warren, cofounder of Saddleback Church What happens when loving Jesus doesn’t cure you of depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts? Imagine a life in which you clearly hear God’s voice and follow His will daily. Do you long for God to speak to you, bringing guidance, strength, and comfort? Perhaps you have been praying for a word from God, but the heavens seem silent. Nothing is more important than knowing how to hear from God because our spiritual life depends on it. Without it, we can’t know and obey His will for us, and we may go down the wrong path or miss His plans for us. The Bible teaches and guides us in essential matters, but instruction for God’s specific, daily purposes for our lives comes from His Holy Spirit, who lives within us. Being able to hear from God is a growing, deepening process that leads us into His perfect plans. Through his extensive study of the Scriptures and personal life experiences, internationally renowned Bible teacher Derek Prince explains the practical steps you can take to hear from God, develop a close relationship with Him, remove obstacles to recognizing His voice, and understand the ways in which He communicates. Hearing God enables us to follow Him more confidently, love Him more deeply, and serve Him more completely. As you cultivate the practice of hearing God’s voice, you will receive the fresh, daily bread that nourishes you spiritually and find divine direction and strength for your ongoing walk with Him. This is the lifestyle you have been waiting for: hearing God’s voice and following Him each day, each step of the way. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
