Synopsis Healthcare Certified Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) by : Valintine Tata

This book is a compendium purposefully designed to help candidates to pass the Healthcare Certified Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) exam on first attempt. The book is developed based on the latest version of the HCISPP exam that went into effect in September 2019. The book has over 400 multiple choice questions spread across all seven domains of the exams. The questions are developed following the common body of knowledge required for each of the domains. The number of questions in each domain reflects the exam weighting for that particular module on the overall score of the exams. Part one, section one, has 250 multiple choice questions with four answer options for each question. Some of the questions test the theoretical knowledge of the learner, while others are scenarios that reflect field realities that reflect two years worth of field experience. Most questions have very similar answers. So, the candidate is expected to select the "best" or the "worst" option depending on the scenario. Part one section two contains the correct answers in bold font. Each correct answer has a detailed annotation on why the correct answer is correct and the other answer options are incorrect. A few links to some publications are included for candidates that would like to read further. Part two, section one contains over 150 additional multiple choice questions spread across all seven modules. The questions equally include both theoretical and applied knowledge to adequately evaluate the candidate's readiness for the actual exams. Part two, section two has the correct answers to the questions on part two, section one. There are no annotations for these questions. However, the learner should be able to know the rationale behind the correct and incorrect answers after having gone through the deliberately sequenced content on part one, sections one and two of the book. Candidates that succeed in this exam are closer to obtaining jobs or promotions in roles like: Healthcare Information Technology Manager; Healthcare Information Security/Privacy Specialist; Healthcare Information Security/Privacy Analyst; and Healthcare Information Security/Privacy Director.
