Synopsis The Ghosts of Cape Cod by : Bill Russo
Historic Cape Cod has 15 towns, stretching from Bourne to Provincetown. Each town and village has ghosts and many stories to tell about them. In this book, the author has chosen some of the lesser known, but fascinating apparitions, such The Ghost of the 13 Churches - Dr. Abner Hersey: Ahsoo, the Native American girl who sings with a voice of gold but has a face like a fallen log: and the 300 year old parson who sneaks into people's yards to snatch posies from their flower boats. These and many other legends are included by the author, who visited many of the sites himself and not only wrote the stories, but also took a number of the more than two dozens photos that are included in the E-book version. The photos are not included in the print edition. In one of the most fascinating parts of the book, the author describes in narrative and with pictures, the eerie, secluded burial ground of the tribe of Princess Scargo. Because this graveyard is virtually unknown, and hard to find, the author has given specific directions to the compelling site, that overlooks Scargo Lake. Stories from all four parts of Cape Cod are included in this 'must read' collection.

Synopsis Haunted Island by : Holly Nadler
It's no surprise that remote Martha's Vineyard is home to a significant population of ghosts. There are the strange entities that just may have played a part in the notorious accident at the Chappaquiddick Bridge. There is the ghost of aristocratic Desire Coffin, called back from the Other Side by the power of music and the memory of lost love. And at one haunted inn, Room 8, accessible only by way of a cramped hidden staircase, is the focus of strange events—including the total disappearance of one guest. After twenty years in print, this classic is now updated and expanded with new information and new stories.

Synopsis Haunted Massachusetts by : Thomas D'Agostino
Massachusetts, the birthplace of America, is home to some of the most fascinating haunts in the world. Forty-one towns and cities hold legends and mysteries that stretch beyond the imagination into the chilling realm of the macabre. Colonial ghosts watch ancient inns in Concord and Charlemont. A railroad tunnel under the Mohawk Trail is doomed by spirits of those who perished while digging it. And the unearthly shrieks of a banshee in Marblehead chills the very marrow of those who must endure its curse.
