Boy bully seeking order, discipline sent to co-ed liberal school, finds a unit within it where rules are rigidly enforced, commits to join them, finds her place; as a well-disciplined schoolgirl! Much fun is had by the 'boys', at 'her' expense! Grown-up girls subvert a boys school, take it over, force hated boy cousin into a the girlie role mapped out for the ringleader, recreate the school games of their youth. Ineffectual patronising young Schoolmaster puts down a young girl's acting; she has her revenge through hypnosis to first feminise the class bully, then takes his place, and has him take her's, and then puts both of them through some very salutary humiliation and punishments to make the change permanent. Headmistress forced to employ a schoolmaster by the Chairwoman of the Governors, when she'd have preferred all her teachers to be women; the 'gels' oblige and feminise, then cane him, leading to some very interesting and penetrating liaisons amongst the pupils and staff!

Synopsis Choosing to Wait by : Laura Gallier
This book goes beyond boundary setting, and instead empowers parents to cultivate convictions in their children so they can stand strong when faced with temptation. While other books focus on modifying a child's behavior, this book gives parents the power to ignite lasting character transformation in their kids. Parents are equipped to effectively convey truths through a healthy discipleship connection. Author and mother of three Laura Gallier focuses on three critical areas: Preparation, Application, and Motivation. She guides parents and children into a biblical understanding of the purposes and sacredness of sex within marriage as well as the realities of sexual sin. She also provides practical tools to assist parents in this sometimes awkward (but very crucial) life issue. Arm your kids today with emotional, spiritual, and physical ammunition that will keep them from making the wrong choices.

Synopsis Manliness and the Boys’ Story Paper in Britain: A Cultural History, 1855–1940 by : K. Boyd
In this pioneering work about the precursor to the comic book, Kelly Boyd traces the evolution of the boys' story paper and its impact on the imaginative world of working-class readers. From the penny dreadful and the Boy's Own Paper to the tales of Billy Bunter and Sexton Blake, this cultural form shaped ideas about gender, race, class and empire in response to social change. This study is an important analysis of a neglected part of popular culture.

Synopsis Gender Swapped Fairy Tales by : Karrie Fransman
Discover a collection of fairy tales unlike the ones you've read before . . . Once upon a time, in the middle of winter, a King sat at a window and sewed. As he sewed and gazed out onto the landscape, he pricked his finger with the needle, and three drops of blood fell onto the snow outside. People have been telling fairy tales to their children for hundreds of years. And for almost as long, people have been rewriting those fairy tales - to help their children imagine a world where they are the heroes. Karrie and Jon were reading their child these stories when they hit upon a dilemma, something previous versions of these stories were missing, and so they decided to make one vital change.. They haven't rewritten the stories in this book. They haven't reimagined endings, or reinvented characters. What they have done is switch all the genders. It might not sound like that much of a change, but you'll be dazzled by the world this swap creates - and amazed by the new characters you're about to discover.

Synopsis The Encyclopaedia of School Stories: The encyclopaedia of girls' school stories by : Rosemary Auchmuty
Girls' school stories are still dismissed by adult critics as less significant than boys' school stories, despite recent academic recognition of the importance of children's literature generally. This encyclopaedia helps to redress the balance with over 400 entries on girls' school story writers. There is an entry for every British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand author known to the editorial team who had published at least one full-length story between 1876 and 1999. In the introduction, Sue Sims provides an overview of the development of the girls' school story and the influence on the genre of key authors, works and publishers. Rosemary Auchmuty's analysis of the critical response which these works have received highlights the different reactions of those who work in the book world, feminist critics and fans of the stories. A huge amount of original research is evident in the detailed entries by Sue Sims, Hilary Clare and a number of invited contributors, all experts in their field. Readers will agree that this encyclopaedia demonstrates that as a body of work, girls' school stories have played an enormous part in women's history and the evolution of children's literature in general.
