Gerry Frank's Oregon is a culmination of years of writing for The Oregonian Travel Section and getting to know the nooks and crannies of the state. Before he began writing travel articles, Gerry spent a good part of his life as chief of staff to the late Senator Mark Hatfield; working together for a quarter-century, visiting every corner of Oregon's geography on constitutent swings.
