However when Kitaro's ear is sliced off, he undergoes a bizarre transformation and reveals his true colors!

Upon arriving at the inn, Ran seeks the power to live by the sword and asks Iori for his tutelage. However Iori seems to have a lot on his mind after his battle with Raio. Before he can catch his breath, yet another of the Hundred Swords comes to attack. Iori finds himself surrounded by more than 30 skilled fighters, including rank number 54, Ikki Obayashi. Iori demonstrates demonic godlike swordplay only to find himself faced with an even more formidable foe!!

Will the Muho style's plot to assassinate the Shogun come to fruition at last? With the help of Ikariya, a Muho spy who infiltrated the Shogunate, Jingu finally manages to corner the Shogun. However, the “fortress wall of the Shogunate” Kyoyasai Yagira now stands in his way! With two powerful warriors surrounding him, Jingu now finds himself between a rock and a hard place. Meanwhile, Gama is paid a visit by Shimon Kudo of the Muho style. Surrounded by three of the strongest disciples of the Muho style, Gama finds himself faced with a big choice!

Gama and Naoyoshi are finally reunited! But why is Naoyoshi working together with the Muho style? And what is Nayoshi's last wish for Gama? The time for Gama to make a big decision steadily approaches! Meanwhile Shungaku Tojo, once a pillar of the Muho style, goes head-to-head with Seiya Zoin, a skilled warrior sent by the Shogunate.
