Exhaustion, dejection, stress.... Sometimes, things happen in our life that take away the joy of living, that cause chaos in our minds or that cut us off from the outside world. "Dark thoughts" is the title of my work and I think we all know what is meant by that. A topic that is a taboo subject for many: mental health. I give you various insights into my mind in the hope that you will not feel alone and that together we will find the way back to life: a life full of joy, hope, and love.

My soul is water. In which the mirror world is reflected. And in the waves my dimly shaped human self reaches closer to the surface, and our fingers touch, and withdraw. We are a changeling and a human. We will never meet.

Out and Proud is a collection of short stories and poetry around the topic LGBTQIA+. It contains life experiences, identities and concepts from my community. I hope to display a bit of the diversity out there, and maybe make some people feel less alone, who can relate to my stories.
