Synopsis Enlightenment Unveiled by : Jen Ward

Jen Ward, LMT, is a Reiki Master. She is an intuitive, a gifted healer and an innovator of healing practices. She is at the leading edge of energy work; providing a loving segue for her techniques to clients, enabling them to cross the bridge of self-discovery with her. Her passion is to empower the individual in their own healing journey so that they can remain in their center every step of the way. Jen is considered a Sangoma, which is a traditional African Shaman who channels their ancestors emoting sounds and vocalizations in their ceremonies. An interesting prerequisite to being a Sangoma is to have survived being at the brink of death; which she fulfilled when in April 2008 she came back to society on the brink of starvation as a result of traumatic involuntary imprisonment. She returned to the world of humanity, a devout soul inspired to serve. Her special abilities have also allowed her to innovate a revolutionary technique for finding lost pets by performing emotional release on the animal. Using this method, she has successfully reunited many lost pets with their owners. Jen currently works as a long-distance emotional release facilitator, public speaker and consultant to high end clientele including celebrities, high end professionals and professional athletes. She also generously shares techniques and daily tapping exercises on social media that are geared to empowering the individual to discover their innate talents and gifts. Enlightenment Unveiled is a compilation of case studies from Jen Ward's private sessions where she uncovered core issues from the client's past life memories that are causing disturbances in their present life. The information revealed in the sessions was used to create incredible shifts in the individual's present life using a series of modalities including the popular technique of tapping. The specific taps that were used to drastically shift the client into empowerment are given in this book. Enlightenment Unveiled affords the opportunity for the reader to experience similar dramatic changes that personal sessions with Jen Ward would avail. These changes happen within themselves, all their relationships and with the word at large.

Synopsis Journey to Enlightenment by : Juliet Christie Murray

This is a book of poems that covers a wide number of topics. The title of the book is named off one of the poems a scenario of likening literacy to the dark passages of a ship packed with slaves. This book covers a number of social issues both in the U.S.A and in the West Indies in which the Author resides. At present there is an increase in crimes in Jamaica since the return of criminals from abroad. (Deportees) The poems Great Big U.S.A. and Train The Child seek to address that issue. For Jamaicans who have had Prime Ministers who were in most parts fair skinned sought for a change by making colour an issue in order to obtain majority votes in a fairly recent general election. The poem 'No Easy Choice', addresses issues and the social spin off, arising from globalization. The author seeks to promote good values and attitudes as in the piece Children of The King. Journey To Enlightenment provides good reading since it contains some humor too. The underlying theme of this book is one that gives encouragement to individuals who are feeling despondent and pessimistic about issues of life, it seeks to find an answer through poetry. As said before it covers a wide range of topics, love spirituality, social issues, and nature; a good book to be added to a collection to be used in schools for choral speaking and literature. The best part of this book is, the poems are easily understood, relevant and recent. Attached to many of the pieces are the circumstances and situations that gave the inspiration to the author for writing the piece. Most teachers who saw the unpublished copy requested a copy. Two pieces from the book were used to enter the Jamaica Festival of arts speech competition for schools, 2004 in Hanover.
