Synopsis Enigmatarium by : E. D. Pedersen

Enigmatarium is story founded on light and darkness. It begins with Jack, a young man who is the victim of a magic beyond his imagining. This magic has come to be known as the Jester Spell. It is a spell that transforms its victim into a deformed marionette. This is but the first knife to cut away a shroud covering his entire world. As time passes for him and as new characters come into his life, he begins to realize that truth becomes the only pursuit in a world that continually changes, a place where evil becomes good, enemy becomes friend and each new lie creates a seemingly endless prison of twists and turns. Together with some unlikely friends, they all strive to unravel the secrets of the Enigmatarium. But some secrets, they learn, are far more terrifying than anything they could ever fathom. And just when they think they may have figured it out, tragedy finds a way into their hearts. The Enigmatarium is a place where reality and fantasy combine with no clear boundaries, where time spans centuries, where magic and death go hand in hand with life and loss. And just as one world must endure its Onyx ruler, another world is simultaneously being governed by one of Pearl. Take the journey, play the game, trust no one and enter the Enigmatarium. It is waiting to welcome you to your fantasy.

Synopsis Ewiw by : James Cruse

I think one familiar short, yet most powerful statement a believer can say is "I'm 'Walking by Faith'." At my age, I have been through countless storms, some small and some big. Nonetheless, my faith continues to carry me through. This is my life's testimony. The world wants you to believe that there is something wrong with a life like mine because I've gone through and I'm still going through. They want you to believe that if you have what the Jones's have then you are living a fulfilled life. Pretty funny, huh? Well, I walk by faith, and I know I'm God's best. That should be fulfilling enough, and God is still completing me as I happily tell my story about how more complete my life is. As you walk by faith, you will be strengthened. You need to understand that challenges are merely new opportunities for you to reach your greatness. Finally, know that your life will truly be blessed when everything that you touch will provide you with a blessed life and no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. "Whatever I go through, whatever happens, 'Either Way I Win'; whether God heals me here on earth, or heals me by calling me home to be with Him, 'Either Way I Win' "

Synopsis Institutions and Ethnic Politics in Africa by : Daniel N. Posner

This book presents a theory to account for why and when politics revolves around one axis of social cleavage instead of another. It does so by examining the case of Zambia, where people identify themselves either as members of one of the country's seventy-three tribes or as members of one of its four principal language groups. The book accounts for the conditions under which Zambian political competition revolves around tribal differences and under which it revolves around language group differences. Drawing on a simple model of identity choice, it shows that the answer depends on whether the country operates under single-party or multi-party rule. During periods of single-party rule, tribal identities serve as the axis of electoral mobilization and self-identification; during periods of multi-party rule, broader language group identities play this role. The book thus demonstrates how formal institutional rules determine the kinds of social cleavages that matter in politics.
