Ralph Eavenson was born about 1625 in Wales, Great Britain. He emigrated from Wales to Chester County, Pennsylvania. On 12 September 1650 he married Cicely Orton, who was born in 1630. Ralph Eavenson died 6 June 1665. Sir John Strickland, born 1620, emigrated from Scotland to Massachusetts in 1629/30 later settling in Hempstead Long Island. He married Jane Fenwick. In 1649 Cromwell sent him as Ambassador to Holland. John Strickland died a widower at Jamaica, New York in 1672/3. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia, Texas and elsewhere.

John Turner (1796-1861) was born in South Carolina, and was probably a son of Benjamnin Turner of the Pendleton District. John married Hetthe Rives about 1808/1810 and lived in the Charleston District until they moved to Georgia about 1820. By 1840 they were living in Cass (later Bartow) County, Georgia. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas and elsewhere.
