Robert Lockwood (1600-1658), son of Edmund Lockwood and Alice Cowper, was baptized in Combs, Suffolk, England. He married Susannah Norman, daughter of Ricahrd Norman and Margaret Alford, in 1632 in Watertown, Massachusetts. They had eleven children. He died in Fairfield, Connecticut. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in, Ohio and Michigan.
