The work of the artists belonging to the Camden Town School and Euston Road Group is well recorded but until now, no work of substance on the many hundreds of teachers and students who flocked to Camberwell during the post-war years has been published. Victor Pasmore, William Coldstream and John Minton were among the charismatic teachers who attracted so many talented students, including mature ex-servicemen, to study at Camberwell.
