Just as the volume was going to press a mass of docu ments belonging to the periods included in it and the two previous volumes was discovered at Windsor. Those belonging to the period included in this volume have been put into an Appendix. The remainder will be dealt with in the next volume. To make sure of seeing every document down to the end of February, 1717, it will therefore be necessary to consult all the four volumes.
