Synopsis Boris and the Wrong Shadow by : Leigh Hodgkinson
After a delightful catnap and dreams of swimming in a bowl of milk, Boris the cat has a feeling that things are not quite as they should be. Something is strange. Boris has woken up with the wrong shadow; in fact, it's the shadow of a small mouse! Not wanting to ruin his afternoon, Boris goes for a walk and all the other cats snicker at him, even the birds don't bother to look at him. When he finds his shadow skipping by without a care in the world Boris must convince Vernon (who has "borrowed" Boris's shadow) to give his shadow back to him. Evenutally, Boris is able to regain his shadow and show his new, small friend that you don't have to be BIG to be a superstar.

Synopsis The Wit and Wisdom of Boris Johnson by : Harry Mount
A return to the wit and wisdom of Boris Johnson – Brexiteer, Foreign Secretary, Prime Minister. New and updated edition. 2019 – the year that Boris took on the 'lingering gloomadon-poppers', pledged to steer the UK between the 'Scylla and Charybdis of Corbyn and Farage' and into the calmer waters of political freedom. Of course there was always bound to be 'a bit of plaster coming off the ceilings of Europe's Chanceries'. Harry Mount has updated his edited collection of the Prime Minister's wit and wisdom with three new chapters dealing with Boris's time as Brexiteer-in-chief; Foreign Secretary and 'On the Threshold of Downing Street'. He describes Boris's Brexit campaign, his leadership breakdown in 2016, his ups and downs as Foreign Secretary, his time outside the political establishment, his turbulent private life and how Boris felt it was his manifest destiny to become the prime minister. So buckle up for a riotous tour of the million-pound NHS funder, golden wonder, pro-having, pro-eating blond behemoth. This is The Wit and Wisdom of Boris Johnson.

Synopsis Shadow by : Lucy Christopher
A modern fairy tale about overcoming our fears and reconnecting with those we love most. In our old house, Ma told me there was nothing to be scared of. No monsters hiding behind doors, or in wardrobes, or under beds. She said there were no dark places at all. But in the new house, under my new bed, that's where I found Shadow. “Beautiful. A really powerful exploration of a child’s experience of a parent’s depression. Big and brave” —Nicola Davies, award-winning author “This soft-spoken story can be anything from a simple, lovely, modern fairy tale to a stunning allegory about overcoming fear & how a parent's depression can affect a child”—ALA Booklist “Helpful to any family going through a challenging situation yet hoping for a brighter future”—Youth Services Book Reviews, 5 STARS

Synopsis What on Earth Can Go Wrong by : Richard Fenning
Richard Fenning has spent three decades advising multinational companies on volatile geopolitics and severe security crises. He was CEO of the British firm Control Risks for 14 years. His career coincided with the glory years of globalization, the rise of China, the tumult of the Middle East wars, a new vicious form of terrorism, the transforming impact of digital technology, and America's retreat from leadership. Offering him a rare insight into what happens when people and organizations come under enormous stress, it dispelled any illusions that the world is ordered, predictable, or fair. But amid the chaos and upheaval, he also found humanity and humor. In a whirlwind tour that takes us from the battlefields of Iraq to the back streets of Bogotà, from the steamy Niger delta to the chill of Putin's Moscow, he looks back with wit and insight on the people and places he has got to know, while also offering some timely thoughts about the relationship between risk and danger in a terrifyingly changeable world.
