Synopsis The Hunted by : Charlie Higson
The sickness struck everyone sixteen and older. First it twisted their minds; next it ravaged their bodies. Now the sickos roam the streets, crazed and hungry for young flesh. Ella's friends had told her that the country would be safer than the city. They were wrong. Now they're dead and Ella's all alone--alone, that is, except for her silent rescuer, Scarface. But she doesn't even know if he's a kid or a grown-up. Back in London, Ed is determined to find Ella and keep his promise to Small Sam that he will reunite sister and brother. But getting out of town has never been more dangerous. It seems that every sicko in the country is coming from all directions, almost as if they're being summoned to the capital. Will anything be able to stop the invading horde?

Synopsis Great Michigan Deer Tales: Book 3 by : Richard P. Smith
The third in a series of books including true stories about the biggest bucks in terms of antler size and weight, bagged by hunters in Michigan. The digital version has mostly color photos as opposed to black and white photos in the printed book. Each book in the series has a different collection of short stores that can be read in any order. Two chapters in this book are devoted to unraveling the mystery behind a monster 12-pointer scoring more than the current world record typical whitetail that Mitch Rompola shot with bow and arrow during 1998. The book also includes chapters about a hunt on which a father and son bagged a huge buck when they were after a doe, a 14-year-old boy who bagged a Boone & Crockett qualifier as his first deer, brothers who successfully stalked a Booner with bow and arrow, a bowhunter who bagged a Booner on his first day of bowhunting and a remarkable story about a buck that was 8 years old. Even though these stories took place in Michigan, they will be valuable to deer hunters everywhere.

Synopsis My Cosmic Trigger by : Matt Vaughn
High strangeness denotes happenings so uncanny they are deemed "utterly absurd." It involves the intersection of multiple paranormal phenomena, revealing an eerie undergirding of reality. MY COSMIC TRIGGER is a deep dive into the subject, covering its history, theories, and notable researchers, analyzing mechanisms behind this cosmic enigma. The author's personal experiences provide a penetrating understanding of the phenomenon by demonstrating how and why extramundane weirdness manifests on a personal level, helping people navigate their own 'synchromystic initiation' with a sense of clarity, fostering a constructive relationship with odd occurrences (not a destabilizing one), and enabling readers to successfully pull their own cosmic trigger.

Inspector Baker, new to Whitby CID, is called in to work with local Sergeant Davies in order to discover who the culprit is. They are aided by a group of students who have just completed their degrees and had been hoping for a quiet holiday exploring the Yorkshire countryside.
