Synopsis Autumn Blaze by : Samantha Harte
Raised by Comanches and recaptured by Texas Rangers, a spirited young woman discovers her past—and a new love—in this Western historical romance. New Mexico Territory, 1871. As an infant born on the frontier, her name was Mandie. When she was taken from her home by Comanche raiders, they called her Little White Hair. But as she grew, this wild and clever beauty earned herself the name Firemaker. Meanwhile, Carter Machesney is the handsome Texas Ranger charged with bringing her back home. But when she’s found in the midst of a brutal battle, Firemaker proves herself as fierce as any Comanche warrior. It’s up to Carter to introduce her to a way of life she’s never known. Though they speak in different tongues, the instant flare of passion between them is a language both can speak. But is it enough to bridge their very different worlds?

In this final volume of diaries, Tony Benn reflects on the compensations and the disadvantages of old age. With the support of a small circle of friends and his extended family, he continues his activities on behalf of social justice, peace and accountability in public life, to a background of political change and the international economic crisis. Following an illness in 2009 the diaries, kept for over sixty years, cease. Published here alongside these last diaries are Tony Benn’s highly personal insights into the challenges of old age and failing health, of widowhood, and of moving out of the family home after sixty years. Finally, we share in Tony Benn's hopes for the future based on his years of experience and his natural optimism.

A life-and-limb-saving guide for artists! For centuries, brave artists have sought the elusive offspring of legend's most infamous beasts. Synopsis Stage Smart by : Smartypants Romance
My record label had one rule… and I broke it. In my defense, “don’t fall in love with your producer” isn’t exactly fair when your producer is Val Andrews, a sweet, talented, totally genuine prince in an industry of egotistical frogs. It’s especially not fair when your forbidden crush becomes a constant temptation while on tour with a vengeful ex and an enigma named Chad. All I want to do is make incredible music and show the world I’m more than a vapid starlet. But when a cryptic memo reveals a sinister plot to destroy my career, it becomes clear there’s only one person I can trust—the one they said I can’t have. 'Stage Smart' is a full-length contemporary rockstar romance and can be read as a standalone. Book #8 in the Work For It series, Educated Romance World, Penny Reid Book Universe.

Synopsis The Complete Plant Selection Guide for Landscape Design by : Marc C. Stoecklein
This book is a quick and easy-to-use reference guide for choosing plant material for landscape designs. This reference manual includes comprehensive lists with search criteria for each of the major plant groups, including trees, shrubs, groundcovers, perennials, vines, grasses, and ferns. These plant groups contain hundreds of specific species, varieties, and cultivars that are readily available in the marketplace from the major production nurseries. Landscape architects, designers, contractors, or anyone who designs with plants, can easily choose plants that will work on their site. The book is technical enough for the professional, yet simple enough to be used by the layperson. Both botanical and common names are used and an extensive amount of cultural and environmental information is presented. While many other books of this kind give only basic information such as sun/shade, height/width, there are so many as 30 specific categories for each plant group. The categories cover such important criteria as light and soil requirements, zone hardiness, height and width, pest and disease susceptibility, urban tolerance, and tolerance to salt and drought. The lists also include many criteria often overlooked such as growth rates, overall messiness, root systems, minimal fall clean up, maintenance levels, soil PH and landscape value/use, and many visual characteristics such as texture, foliage color and fall colors, bloom colors and seasons, shapes and forms, attractive bark and foliage and more. There is also a candid Pros & Cons section covering some realistic considerations for each of the plant species groups.

Synopsis Handbook of Urban and Community Forestry in the Northeast by : John E. Kuser
With the emergence of urban and community forestry as the fastest growing part of our pro fession in the last 15 years, the need for a book such as this inevitably developed. The So ciety of American Foresters' urban forestry working group counts 32 or more universities now offering courses in this subject, and the number is growing. For the last several years I have coordinated a continuing education urban forestry course at Rutgers for nonmatriculated students. Registrants have included arborists, shade tree commissioners, landscape architects, city foresters, environmental commissioners, park superintendents, and others whose jobs involve care and management of trees. The course was started by Bob Tate in 1980, around a core of managerial subjects such as in ventories, budgets, and public relations. After Bob left in 1984 to join Asplundh and later to start his own prosperous business in California, the course languished after it exhausted the local market for those subjects.
