Organitzat en dues parts, en la primera es revisen aquells processos fonamentals i aplicats que poden ajudar als aprenents de traductors a desenvolupar el seu treball amb autonomia i fiabilitat, així com per a una millor preparació i millors recursos per a la traducció. En la segona part se centra a desenvolupar l'enfocament pràctic per a la traducció amb la posada en pràctica de quatre projectes: textos turístics, periodístics i informatius, publicitaris i humanístics o culturals.
