Synopsis A Root Awakening by : Kate Collins
Abby Knight's marriage may be in full bloom, but house hunting is no bed of roses in latest novel in the New York Times bestselling Flower Shop Mystery series... Now that they’ve tied the knot, flower shop owner Abby Knight and her husband, Marco, want to put down roots. When it comes to picking a house, Marco can’t wait to get his hands dirty, while Abby isn’t ready for a fixer-upper. But conflict really sprouts when they’re checking out a dilapidated Victorian and watch a construction worker take a life-threatening tumble. Since witnesses claim the man shouted for help, suggesting that the fall was no accident, the victim’s flamboyant wife hires Marco to find the person responsible. Meanwhile, Abby keeps secret from Marco her own investigation into the home’s inhabitants, a family whose off-kilter behavior has aroused her suspicions. If only Abby’s very pregnant cousin, Jillian, will stop distracting Abby with false labor pains, she can conclude her own inquiries before Marco finds out…and her case blossoms into a disaster.

Synopsis A Root Awakening by : Ramon L. Quezada
A Root Awakening is an autobiographical about me the author. The book is about familys history and my early years being raised during the Second World War. Living in Detroit my family was well removed from our relatives who were still living in Mexico. Growing up I was always curious about those mysterious relatives. However, due to some unusual circumstances and as I got older I realized that I might be able to go down and meet those relatives. The book is about the trip that I made on my own in 1954. One of my ambitions was to ride up in the mountains and that is my story and how I was able to accomplish that mission. There are many small adventures that took place before my journey into the hills. It was me and my new found cousins who rode up into the mountains with a guide. Consequently, I was able to fulfill my dreams.

Mother Theresa. The Dalai Lama. Nelson Mandela. Gandhi. Some admire such figures from afar and think, "How special they are; I could never be like that." But, as John Makransky has learned, the power of real and enduring love lies within every one of us. Awakening Through Love is his guide to finding it. In Awakening Through Love, he pioneers new ways of making Tibetan meditations of compassion and wisdom accessible to people of all backgrounds and faiths. Drawing from Tibetan teachings of compassion and the Dzogchen teachings of innate wisdom, and using plain, practical instruction, he helps readers uncover the unity of wisdom and love in the very nature of their minds. Then Lama John describes how to actualize those qualities in every aspect of family life, work, service and social action.
