Synopsis A Hundred Sweet Promises by : Sepehr Haddad
Inspired by a story his grandmother told him shortly before the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, A Hundred Sweet Promises is the true tale of the author's grandfather, Nasrosoltan Minbashian-a famed music composer living in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1913. On the eve of World War I, Nasrosoltan embarks on a journey from his homeland, Persia, to study at the renowned St. Petersburg Conservatory in pursuit of his musical legacy. During this time, through a series of events beyond his control, he becomes acquainted with the Russian royal family and falls in love with a princess. Nasrosoltan suddenly finds himself in a battle between head and heart while being carried forward on a wave of destiny toward an uncertain future. Synopsis 100 Promises to My Baby by : Mallika Chopra
"The world was never changed or transformed by politicians, or for that matter, by scientists. The mothers of the world hold the keys." As she eagerly awaited the birth of her first child, Mallika Chopra began to craft a unique gift that would express her profound loving commitment to the baby growing inside of her. 100 Promises to My Baby is that gift--one that reflects her deep awareness of the sacred responsibilities of parenthood. Here the author shares the vows she made to help her child--and all children--grow up feeling cherished and secure, look at the world with wonder and curiosity, and learn spiritual values that enrich life and contribute to making the world a better place. Accompanying the 100 promises are short essays, reflections, poems, and stories that have inspired the author throughout her life--and that will inspire readers to think about their own lives, values, and beliefs, and what they would like to pass on to their children.

Synopsis The Vital Mystic: A Guide to Emotional Strength and Spiritual Enrichment by : T. Collins Logan
Mysticism is a journey of personal transformation. The Vital Mystic describes that journey in careful detail, providing tools, techniques and insights that support a deepening mystical practice. As mysticism opens doors to our innermost Self, it introduces us to powerful currents flowing beneath the surface of consciousness. With careful preparation, immersing ourselves in those currents can be inspiring, edifying and empowering. How can we ensure our mystical practice remains vital and alive? First, we can explore patterns of thought and emotion that hinder our ability interpret mystical information, and gently reshape those patterns in constructive ways. Second, we can focus our mystical efforts on the most positive, spiritually enriching outcomes. The Vital Mystic also explores common questions and hurdles encountered during mystical practice, so that regardless of what challenges arise we can remain grounded, purposeful and compassionate in all of our choices. First published in 2003, The Vital Mystic lays much of the groundwork for the development of Integral Lifework by T.Collins Logan in subsequent years.
