Synopsis A Biker-Soldier's Journey by : Monty Van Horn

Meet the author, Monty Van Horn. He is just an ordinary person. He is a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, combat veteran, and a pastor. He is also a biker, hunter, mechanic, outdoorsman, your neighbor, a friend, and again, just an ordinary person. Monty spent 12 years in the Army and felt called to leave the military to pursue ordination as a pastor so he could return to the military as a chaplain. While those doors did not open, God did open other doors that guided him to become an ordained inter-denominational minister. The way God did that was unusual to say the least. The story is in the book. After being obedient to God and becoming ordained by God himself (you will have to read the story) Monty was still just a lump of clay on the table. God calls Monty into being a pastor of a church! I know right? God makes it clear that he wants Monty inside the church and no longer preaching just in the highways and byways! You have just got to read the story, it is amazing! So, don’t just open the front page and check the water with your feet! Dive in and get submerged immediately! If you are looking for edification, encouragement, confirmation, or just want an easy to read book, you have found it. Enjoy and may God touch you and guide you as you travel through time with Monty. Hang on as you ride back into the past then back again and what a ride it is!

Synopsis White Mouse by : Nancy Wake

Nancy Wake, nicknamed 'the white mouse' for her ability to evade capture, tells her own story. As the Gestapo's most wanted person, and one of the most highly decorated servicewomen of the war, it's a story worth telling. After living and working in Paris in the 1930's, Nancy married a wealthy Frenchman and settled in Marseilles. Her idyllic new life was ended by World War II and the invasion of France. Her life shattered, Nancy joined the French resistance and, later, began work with an escape-route network for allied soldiers. Eventually Nancy had to escape from France herself to avoid capture by the Gestapo. In London she trained with the Special Operations Executive as a secret agent and saboteur before parachuting back into France. Nancy became a leading figure in the Maquis of the Auvergne district, in charge of finance and obtaining arms, and helped to forge the Maquis into a superb fighting force. During her lifetime, Nancy Wake was hailed as a legend. Her autobiography recounts her extraordinary wartime experiences in her own words.

Synopsis True Story of Baroumbayes Journey from Africa to United States by : Noubaissem Baroumbaye

Noubaissem, in the Sara dialect in Chad, means “God is with me.” Baroumbaye means “to call me one day.” If the author’s name has accomplished anything in his life, it is much more divine grace. Grace is from the Hebrew word chanan or the Greek word charis, meaning “the state of kindness and favor toward someone, often with a focus on a benefit given to the object” (Strong’s Greek 5485). Grace is what God does because he is gracious. Every action of God toward us involves his grace. The author’s essay in elementary and secondary would never have reflected the story of the man who has to be educated, get married, have five children, and come to live in the United States. But here he is at fifty-seven, writing a biography that mentions everything God has planned for him. That is not all because there are still a lot of hidden parts that will happen before the author meets him in heaven.

Synopsis Europe, bike and jussi by : Jussi Saarikoski

Feedback from readers Jussi has an interesting approach to things. The book absorbs from the first page and holds in its grip - exciting experiences, live narration, as if it were itself involved in the adventures of a courageous Finn. At the beginning of each chapter is a map that keeps the reader well involved in the meeting places. Incredibly exciting, suprising events, a sense of experimentation and risk-taking creat the main content of the book. The personel gallery is extensive. Meetinting different people, camping and living in the woods, personel situation descriptions and humor make the book interesting and unique. The spoken language of the book creats authenticity in the events. An important contribution of the book is to remind people of their soliradity and willingness to help. The book is a description of trust and also, threat, courage and tolerance for discomfrt. The whole book is a fully packed activity, there is little time to breathe in between. Only photographs give room for concise text. I enjoy the smooth, colorful narration of the book. I like Jussi ́s style - ralaxing reading, captivating story telling. I highly recommend the book to seniors as well, not to mention young people. I look forward to the publication of the following Jussi ́s books.
