This volume includes 45 talks and reports from facilitated discussions by outstanding contributors to the theory of hadrons that cover the entire spectrum of computational strategies being developed to solve QCD.A new computational strategy for solving light-front QCD, a strategy which starts with a constituent quark model that can be solved using the weak-coupling methods of QED, is extensively reviewed.

The purpose of the School and Workshop was to study recent topics in QCD and hadron physics from various points of view. The subjects included perturbative and nonperturbative aspects of QCD, chiral effective theory in hadron physics and high temperature and density nuclear matter physics.Another purpose was to enhance communications and collaborations among researchers in the Asia and Oceania region.

This volume, which is a compilation of lecture notes, seminar talks and contributed material presented at the above conference, discusses the modern approaches to hadronic physics: chiral perturbation theory, effective Lagrangians, models for hadronic structure and nuclear matter properties, method of light front quantization, etc. The lecture notes provide comprehensive pedagogical descriptions of methods and achievements in the corresponding topics, while the seminar talks review recent selected frontier work. The various contributions cover a wide spectrum of research problems in hadronic physics.

Vladimir Naumovich Gribov was one of the most outstanding theoretical physicists, a key figure in the development of modern elementary particle physics. His insights into the physics of quantum anomalies and the origin of classical solutions (instantons), the notion of parton systems and their evolution in soft and hard hadron interactions, the first theory of neutrino oscillations and conceptual problems of quantization of non-Abelian fields uncovered by him, have left a lasting impact on the theoretical physics of the 21st century. Gribov-80 - the fourth in a series of memorial workshops for V. N. Gribov - was organized on the occasion of his 80th birthday in May 2010, at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics. The workshop paid tribute to Gribov's great achievements and brought close colleagues, younger researchers and leading experts together to display the new angles of the Gribov heritage at the new energy frontier opened up by the Large Hadron Collider.
