In this issue of The Ministry we include the final six messages from the Spring 2002 International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones held in Anaheim, California. The general subject of the training was knowing the Body. Three messages were on the specific topic of knowing the Body—the building up of the Body, and the last three messages were practical fellowship concerning the functioning of the elders. Under the topic of knowing the Body--the building up of the Body, the first message emphasizes that as we grow up into Christ, the Head, in all things, our function will come out from the Head for the building up of the Body of Christ. The second message points out what the living and service of the Body of Christ is. The living of the Body of Christ includes: 1) taking Christ as its Head, life, content, principal object, center, and goal, 2) having the Spirit as its essence and reality and taking the Spirit as its secret and effectiveness, 3) taking the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ as its regulation, and 4) taking life and the Body as the principle. The service of the Body of Christ is living, organic, and particular, with each member receiving a particular burden from the Lord to fulfill his own service. The third message reveals the divine commission according to the heavenly vision for the increase and building up of the Body. Under the topic of practical fellowship concerning the functioning of the elders, the first message speaks about the position and function of the elders. The second message points out that the elders are slaves, and as such they must have the spirit of a slave, the spirit of sacrifice. The third message stresses that the main responsibility of the eldership is the shepherding of the saints into the intrinsic aspect of the church, the Body. Last of all, we include reports concerning the Lord's move in the former Soviet Union and among the young people in Europe.

This issue of The Ministry contains a complete record of the six messages given during the Memorial Day weekend conference held in St. Paul, Minnesota, May 25-28, 2007. The general subject of the conference was "Caring for the Present Need in the Lord's Recovery," and the main burden of the conference can be summarized by the following four statements: (1) We must walk in the truth of the economy of God, realize the recovery of the Lord, and stay away from death and division. (2) We need to know the present truth, uphold the absoluteness of the truth, and be constituted with the truth for the church as the pillar and base of the truth. (3) The ground of oneness is the processed and consummated Triune God applied to our being, and the essence of the genuine oneness is life and light. (4) We must receive the Lord's mercy to be His overcomers who bring in a new revival to turn the age in the Lord's recovery by arriving at the highest peak of the divine revelation, by living the life of a God-man, and by shepherding people according to God in the vital groups for the building up of the Body of Christ. Last of all, we include a report concerning the International Blending Conference in Buzias, Romania.

In this issue of The Ministry we include nine messages of "The Visions of Ezekiel concerning God's Economy," given during the 2001 fall term of the Full-time Training in Anaheim. God's economy is His plan and arrangement according to the desire of His heart to dispense Himself in Christ as the Spirit into His chosen and redeemed people as their life, life supply, and everything, thereby working Himself into them to make them His corporate expression. The book of Ezekiel gives us a condensed vision of God's economy. It begins with a vision of God's glory and ends with a vision of God's building and ultimately of God's city, showing us that God's goal is the building, His corporate expression. The visions of Ezekiel are messages of God for the present age, an age in which God's people have fallen into captivity in Babylon, where they do not live in Christ properly and continually and where they do not enjoy the riches of Christ. Last of all, we include reports concerning the Lord's move in South Africa and Holland.

This is a special combined issue (January/February) of The Ministry. It contains a complete record of the messages given in Anaheim, California, during the 2001 Winter Training on the Crystallization-study of Ephesians. These messages are being published immediately following the training in order that they might benefit the saints participating in the many video trainings held throughout the earth. Because of the specific nature of this issue, the usual section of reports concerning the Lord's move throughout the earth has been omitted. The burden for the twelve messages given during the 2001 Winter Training on the Crystallization-study of Ephesians may be summarized by four statements: 1) the dispensing of Christ is for the gradual building up of His Body and the transmitting of Christ is for the sudden raising up of God's churches; 2) God's eternal intention is to head up all things in Christ, the universal Head, through the church, which is His Body; 3) the oneness of the Spirit must be kept diligently by all the believers in Christ with the transformed human virtues strengthened and enriched by and with the divine attributes; and 4) as the unlimited, immeasurable Christ makes His home in our hearts, we are filled unto all the fullness of God—the ultimate, corporate expression of the Triune God.

The burden for the twelve messages given during the 2002 Summer Training on the Crystallization-study of Philippians may be summarized by four statements: 1) the Christian life is a life of living Christ for the constitution and building up of the Body of Christ; 2) we need to work out our own salvation by obeying the inner operating God; 3) we need to be conformed to the mold of Christ's death by the power of His resurrection that we may attain to the out-resurrection from the dead; and 4) the Christian life is a life full of Christ as forbearance but without anxiety. We also include two reports concerning the free mass distribution of the ministry literature and concerning the Lord's move in His recovery.

In this issue of The Ministry we include the final eight messages of "The Visions of Ezekiel concerning God's Economy" given during the 2001 fall term of the Full-time Training in Anaheim. The book of Ezekiel is composed of four main sections. The first section concerns the vision of the appearance of the Lord's glory. The next section concerns God's judgment both on His disobedient and wayward people and on the nations. The third section concerns the Lord's recovery by life. The first message of this volume deals with the vision of the throne above the clear sky. The highest point in our Christian experience and in our living as Christians in the church life is not simply to have a crystal-clear sky. We need to reach the highest point where we see the man on the throne and realize that God's goal is to have many men on the throne with Christ as the God-man. The last message of this series focuses on the last section of Ezekiel, on the vision of the holy building of God. Next to God Himself, this is perhaps the greatest matter in the Bible because it involves the totality of God's work in His economy through the ages to produce an expression of Himself. Last of all, we include a report of the first International Blending Conference in Accra, Ghana, held in March 2002.

In this issue of The Ministry, we include six messages from the Spring 2002 International Elders and Responsible Ones' training held in Anaheim, California. The general subject of the training was knowing the Body, and these six messages were on the specific topic of the principles of the Body. The remaining messages on practical fellowship concerning the function of the elders and building up the Body will be included in the next issue of The Ministry. Message One, concerning the vision of the Body, tells us that we need revelation to know the reality of the Body of Christ and to usher us into the realm of the Body. This heavenly vision includes three things: "Me," "Jesus," and "chosen vessel" (Acts 9:4-5, 15). Message Two, concerning the constitution of the Body of Christ, unveils that the Body of Christ is constituted with the Triune God and His redeemed people, with His redeemed people as the outward framework and the Triune God as the inward element. Message Three reveals three levels of the oneness of the believers: 1) in the Father's name and by the Father's divine life, 2) in the reality of the sanctifying word, and 3) in the divine glory for the expression of the processed, mingled, and incorporated Triune God (John 17:6-24). Message Four testifies that the genuine oneness of the Body of Christ is the oneness of the Spirit (Eph. 4:3). Message Five shows how the church ground is constituted of three crucial elements: 1) the unique oneness of the universal Body of Christ, 2) the unique ground of the locality in which a local church is established and exists, and 3) the reality of the Spirit of oneness. Message Six concludes this section on the principles of the Body by pointing out the blessing of life on the ground of oneness (Psa. 133). We also include a report concerning a recent conference in Armenia.

This issue of The Ministry presents the last nine messages given during the 2005 spring term of the full-time training in Anaheim, California. The general subject of this series of messages is entitled "Noah, Daniel, and Job--Patterns of Living an Overcoming Life on the Line of Life to Fulfill the Economy of God." Noah, Daniel, and Job were selected to be the subject of this series of messages based upon two verses from Ezekiel 14. Verse 14 says, "Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in the midst of it, they would deliver only their own souls by their righteousness, declares the Lord Jehovah." Verse 20 is similar: "Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in the midst of it, as I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, they could not deliver even a son or daughter; they would deliver only their own souls by their righteousness." It is clear that these three men are singled out for their righteousness. There are four aspects of righteousness, all of which are deeply and intrinsically woven into what is signified by the lives of these three persons. First, righteousness is to be right with all things, matters, and persons according to God's righteous requirement. Second, righteousness is the expression in our living of the Christ who dwells in us as the life-giving Spirit. Third, righteousness is a matter of being altogether right with the throne of God's administration. God's throne is established upon righteousness (Psa. 89:14). Fourth, righteousness is a matter of our being constituted with the righteousness of God, of our becoming crystal clear and transparent. We are becoming the righteousness of God in Christ. This righteousness in its four aspects is directly related to the Triune God Himself and, in particular, to the Triune God in the carrying out of His divine economy. Last of all, we include a report concerning the Lord's move in Romania.

In this issue of The Ministry, we include six messages from the 2002 Memorial Day Conference in Seattle, Washington, May 24-27. The general subject of this series of messages is, "A New Reviva--Living the Life of a God-man for the Reality of the Body of Christ." The following four statements summarize the burden for these messages: 1) God's economy is God becoming man that man may become God in life and in nature for the producing of the Body of Christ; 2) the reality of the Body of Christ is a corporate living of conformity to the death of Christ by the power of the resurrection of Christ; 3) the Spirit is the reality of the Triune God, the reality of resurrection, and the reality of the Body of Christ; and 4) whenever we turn to our spirit and exercise our spirit, we enter into the reality of the Body, because the Body is in our spirit. Last of all, we include two reports: 1) a recent training among the young people in West Africa, and 2) recent and upcoming trainings and conferences in Russia.

This issue of The Ministry of the Word contains a complete record of the six messages given during the Memorial Day weekend conference held on May 23-26, 2008, in Dallas, Texas. The general subject of the conference was entitled "Experiencing and Enjoying Christ to Abound in the Work of Christ according to His Full Ministry of Three Stages--Incarnation, Inclusion, and Intensification." The main burden of the conference can be summarized by the following four statements: 1) We need to experience and enjoy Christ to abound in the work of Christ according to His full ministry of three stages--incarnation, inclusion, and intensification. 2) The seven Spirits as the seven eyes of Christ, the Lamb, infuse all that the Lamb is into our being so that we may be transformed into His image for God's building. 3) Christ as the sevenfold intensified Spirit is working to produce the overcomers by bringing them out of the degradation of the church back to the enjoyment of Himself for the finalization of God's New Testament economy. 4) Under the burning of the seven Spirits as the seven lamps of fire, the churches as golden lampstands will consummate in the New Jerusalem as the universal, eternal golden lampstand. Last of all, we include a report concerning recent conferences in Armenia and Georgia.
