Synopsis The Donkey Speaks... AGAIN! by : John Hohl
How we understand and interpret prophecy ultimately determines how we interpret the rest of the Bible—even how we understand God. Unfortunately, all the currently accepted outlines of how the end-times are portrayed in the Bible contain contradictions. The two major groups—Amillennialism (who reject the theory that Jesus Christ will have a literal, thousand-year-long, physical reign on the earth) and Premillennialism (who believe Jesus Christ will literally and physically return to the earth after taking the Christian believers up to heaven)—each have strong arguments. While the Premillennial view appears to have the most validity, it also has many contradictions mainly rooted in the assumption of a seven-year yet future tribulation before the second coming. The Donkey Speaks Again will help the reader finally understand Bible prophecies and the way the Bible lays them out for us. Key Bible words and phrases are interpreted to allow the reader to overlap singular events depicted within the two separate visions of end-times events (given to Jews in the Old Testament and the Christians in the New Testament) confidently as occurring together on the prophecy timeline. When faced with these truths, the reader will be forced to change the way they understand God, the Bible, and definitely some long-held, but never questioned beliefs.

Synopsis The First Testament by : John Goldingay
Most Bible translations bend the text toward us, making the rough bits more palatable to our modern sensibilities. In this Old Testament translation, John Goldingay sets our expectations off balance by inviting us to hear the strange accent of the Hebrew text unbaptized in pious religiosity. Translating consistently, word by word, this unique interpretation allows us to read the sacred text through fresh eyes.

Synopsis If Animals Could Speak by : Don LoCicero
IF ANIMALS COULD SPEAK is a fantasy that examines the human condition and our relationship to the animal kingdom. Inspired by 9/11/2001, the central themes of the novel are betrayal, terror, loss, heroism and love. Unlike that infamous September day, however, the primary victims and heroes of LoCicero's work are not human, but a band of farm animals. Faced with the destruction of their farm after its sale to developers, they valiantly but vainly battle the construction workers and their cruel, scar-faced boss. Exiled and pursued, their numbers grow as they recruit a dog, a bear, a colony of bats, a band of raccoons, an eagle, and ultimately a human who was an eyewitness to the terrorist attack on New York's Twin Towers. The latter, a stage actor nicknamed Shake, is also a fugitive, suspected by overzealous government agents of being a terrorist. Horse ultimately takes the unprecedented action of revealing the animals' most guarded secret to Shake. The latter repays their trust after making a remarkable discovery in the far recesses of a mountain cave, a find that has the potential of securing them lasting peace and freedom. In order to do this, however, they must locate Farmer and enlist him to their cause.

Synopsis Flash by : Rachel Anne Ridge
The heartwarming tale of an irrepressible donkey who needed a home—and forever changed a family. Rachel Anne Ridge was at the end of her rope. The economy had crashed, taking her formerly thriving business along with it. She had been a successful artist, doing work she loved, but now she felt like a failure. How would her family pay their bills? What would the future hold? If only God would somehow let them know that everything was going to be all right . . . and then Flash the donkey showed up. If there is ever a good time to discover a wounded, frightened, bedraggled donkey standing in your driveway, this wasn’t it. The local sheriff dismissed Flash as “worthless.” But Rachel didn’t believe that, and she couldn’t turn him away. She brought Flash into her struggling family during their darkest hour—and he turned out to be the very thing they needed most. Flash is the true story of their adventures together in learning to love and trust; breaking down whatever fences stood in their way; and finding the strength, confidence, and faith to carry on. Prepare to fall in love with Flash: a quirky, unlikely hero with gigantic ears, a deafening bray, a personality as big as Texas, and a story you’ll never forget.
