The Adornment Principle is the nineteenth entry in the Little Blue Book Series and comprises of the thirty-second and thirty-third discourses of the Monodoxy, which is itself the first disquisition of the founding book of Astronism, titled the Omnidoxy. This publication is over 250 insentensations long and firstly introduces and explains the adornment principle which is essentially the notion holding that the Omnidoxy will be the first of many doxies that will continually contribute to Astronist philosophy and Astronism. Secondly, in the discourse titled The Apogenesis, the topic of the ending of The Cosmos is generally explored and contemplated before a series of theories are provided and explained regarding the finality. This discourse focusing on the discipline of Finality Theory is considered the counterpart to the aforediscoursed Creation Theory discipline. The Little Blue Book Series was created and first published by Cometan himself as a way to simplify and commercialise the immensity of the two million word length of the Omnidoxy into smaller, more bite-size publications. A successful series from its very first published entry, the Little Blue Book Series has gone on to become a symbol of Astronist commercial literature and a way for Cometan’s words to reach readers of all ages and abilities who remain daunted by the beauty and yet the sheer extensiveness of the Omnidoxy as the longest religious text in history.

Looking beyond the boundaries of various disciplines, the author demonstrates that symmetry is a fascinating phenomenon which provides endless stimulation and challenges. He explains that it is possible to readapt art to the sciences, and vice versa, by means of an evolutionary concept of symmetry. Many pictorial examples are included to enable the reader to fully understand the issues discussed. Based on the artistic evidence that the author has collected, he proposes that the new ars evolutoria can function as an example for the sciences.The book is divided into three distinct parts, each one focusing on a special issue. In Part I, the phenomenon of symmetry, including its discovery and meaning is reviewed. The author looks closely at how Vitruvius, Polyclitus, Democritus, Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus, Augustine, Alberti, Leonardo da Vinci and Durer viewed symmetry. This is followed by an explanation on how the concept of symmetry developed. The author further discusses symmetry as it appears in art and science, as well as in the modern age. Later, he expounds the view of symmetry as an evolutionary concept which can lead to a new unity of science. Clothing, dress, and ornamentation are crucial parts of individual and communal religious life and practice, yet they are too often overlooked. The Grand Lexicon of Astronology is the principal post-disquisitional segment of the Omnidoxy within the Appendix of the Omnidoxy as part of the Original Omnidoxical Series solely authored and organised by Cometan and published by the Astronist Institution. The Grand Lexicon makes up the largest portion of the Appendix of the Omnidoxy at over 300,000 words and is considered the first dictionary of not only Astronism itself, but the entire Astronic tradition and culture, as studied by the astronology discipline. The Grand Lexicon includes terms across the entire Astronic tradition regarding both Millettarian and Astronist philosophies and cultures. Its authority is further solidified through its categorised as part of the Omnidoxy and demonstrates its importance to the founding of Astronism and acts as a great expander of the elements surrounding the religion. Although there will be many more dictionaries concerning Astronism and astronology with greater comprehensiveness of the entirety of these vast subjects, The Grand Lexicon of Astronology will remain the progenitor for all of these.

The Omnidoxy is the founding treatise of the Astronist religion and was solely authored by the philosopher and religious founder, Cometan. Partitioned into twelve disquisitions, each of which are further divided into hundreds of discourses, which are themselves titled by those which are known as rubrals, The Omnidoxy has been codified according to a unique writing structure known as insentence. The Omnidoxy not only forms the foundations of Astronism, but it remains the primary modern contributor and the book that ignited the establishment of the Astronic tradition of religion which encompasses the philosophy of Astronism. Introducing brand new philosophical concepts such as cosmocentricity, reascensionism, transcensionism, and sentientism amongst many others, The Omnidoxy remains the principal signifier of a new era in philosophy. The Omnidoxy births hundreds of new belief orientations, schools of thought, neologisms, disciplines of study, theories, and concepts which, when combined and considered collectively, have formed the basis of Astronism. The authorship of The Omnidoxy rests with the single individual philosopher, Cometan who began writing The Omnidoxy at the age of seventeen driven by what he terms as personal inspiration. The historical origination of The Omnidoxy rests in its authorship by Brandon Taylorian during early 21st century England, specifically in the northern county of Lancashire. Like in all textual criticism, the timing and location of the codification of The Omnidoxy is integral to understanding why and how it was written, especially by considering the influential factors impacting Taylorian during his construction of the text, particularly the cultural, political, religious, and social contexts of Taylorian's personal life and of wider society at the time. This forms an important branch of study within omnidoxicology known as omnidoxical criticism, or omnidoxical exegesis in which scholars study and investigate The Omnidoxy in order to discern conclusive judgements inspired by how, where, why, by whom, for whom, and in what circumstances The Omnidoxy was written.

The Monodoxy is a 275,000 word-long philosophical disquisition categorised as the first of twelve disquisitions that, when considered collectively, form The Omnidoxy, the founding treatise of the philosophy of Astronism established by Cometan. The disquisition comprises of hundreds of discourses which are themselves titled by rubrals and written according to a style and structure known as insentence. The Monodoxy's authorship solely rests with Cometan, the first Millettic philosopher and the founder of Astronism whom began writing The Monodoxy at the age of just seventeen through what he termed as personal inspiration. The Monodoxy has been said to formulate the thematic identity of the philosophy of Astronism due to its prominent focus on the elements, progeny, and phenomena of The Cosmos in a distinct way to all the other eleven disquisitions forming The Omnidoxy. Hundreds of new schools of thought, disciplines of study, and philosophical belief orientations hold their roots in The Monodoxy in addition to thousands of new terms, concepts, and theories which hold a distinguished originality and Cometanic style combined with an Astronic identity. There are a total of fifty-three discourses which constitute The Monodoxy, each of which holds its own special title known as a rubral which are used to provide overviews of the discourses to which they are associated.

In the Madhyamakalankara, Shantarakshita synthesized the views of Madhyamaka and Yogachara, the two great streams of Mahayana Buddhism. This was the last great philosophical development of Buddhist India. In his brilliant and searching commentary, Mipham re-presented Shantarakshita to a world that had largely forgotten him, defending his position and showing how it should be understood in relation to the teaching of Chandrakirti. To do this, he subtly reassessed the Svatantrika-Prasangika distinction, thereby clarifying and rehabilitating Yogachara-Madhyamaka as a bridge whereby the highest philosophical view on the sutra level flows naturally into the view of tantra. Mipham’s commentary has with reason been described as one of the most profound examinations of Madhyamaka ever written.

The last few years have seen a number of new books on evolutionary biology. However most of these are either large or specialized. This is an attempt to produce a thin, general version for undergraduate use. Thinness, of course, demands selectivity, and the aim has been to concentrate on the principles of the subject rather than on the details-principles, that is, of both theory and practice. Thinness also sometimes means that a certain level of knowledge is assumed in the readership, but I hope that this is not the case here, and my intention has certainly been to produce something that is as intelligible to the uninitiated as it is to the well-informed. As for the bibliography, I refer, where possible, to reviews rather than primary sources, so a citation should not be taken to imply any sort of precedence. In developing the theme, I have adopted a loosely historical approach, not only because I believe that this makes for more interesting reading but also because the subject, like the subject it addresses, has evolved under the critical eye of a selective process. Problems have been perceived, hypotheses have been formulated to explain them, facts have been amassed to test the hypotheses, more problems have been perceived, more hypotheses formu lated, and so on.
