A basic reading course, the main component being programmed readers. Series I (Bks 1-7) is for first-grade and remedial students, series II (Bks 8-15) and series III (Bks 16-23) offer a greater diversity of reading selections, and the vocabulary is increased to 1700 and 3200 respectively.
