This volume of the SPAR series brings the proceedings of the fourteen edition of the DARS symposium on Distributed Autonomous Robotic Systems, whose proceedings have been published within SPAR since the past edition. This symposium took place in Boulder, CO from October 15th to 17th, 2018. The volume edited by Nikolaus Correll and Mac Schwager contains 36 scientific contributions cutting across planning, control, design, perception, networking, and optimization, all united through the common thread of distributed robotic systems.

Gilbert Müller introduces the foundations of Business Process Management as well as Case-based Reasoning and presents a novel approach to assist the complex, time-consuming, and error-prone task of workflow modeling. By means of methods from artificial intelligence, in particular from the field of Case-based Reasoning, he shows how workflows can be automatically constructed according to a query specified by the user. Thus, the modeling process can be supported substantially, which addresses a highly relevant problem in many workflow domains.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Smart Card Research and Advanced Applications, CARDIS 2019, held in Prague, Czech Republic, in November 2019. This book tackles the 6G odyssey, providing a concerted technology roadmap towards the 6G vision focused on the interoperability between the wireless and optical domain, including the benefits that are introduced through virtualization and software defined radio.
