Synopsis ?????? ?????? by : Michael Carasik
For the first time, Miqra'ot Gedolot is available in an accessible English edition. First published 500 years ago as the "Rabbinic Bible," the biblical commentaries known as the Miqra'ot Gedolot have inspired and educated generations of Hebrew readers. With this edition, the voices of Rashi, Ibn Ezra, Nahmanides, Rashbam, and other medieval commentators come alive once more, speaking in a contemporary English translation annotated and explicated for lay readers. Each page of The Commentators' Bible contains several Hebrew verses from the book of Exodus, surrounded by both the 1917 and 1985 JPS translations and new English translations of the major commentators. This large-format volume is beautifully designed for ease of navigation among the many elements on each page, including explanatory notes and selected additional comments from the works of Bekhor Shor, Hizkuni, Abarbanel, Sforno, Gersonides, and others. - Publisher.

Synopsis The Fallacy of Magnitude by : Hugh J. Schonfield
Hugh Schonfield is best known for his controversial book (and the film) “The Passover Plot” yet he was a writer of considerable scope and often composed essays or gave talks on many of his pet themes, including approaching ancient religious literature from a historical point of view. Through these studies he portrays man on a path of destiny to a Wellsian future and often calls his listener to consider the meaning of true religion. In this book we are confronted with a collection of essays which have never been put into print and which were discovered in the articles of the Mondcivitan Republic (Commonwealth of World Citizens). Although the idea of founding a virtual Republic based on the concept of a serving world nation seems far-fetched to readers today, it expressed ideas of non-violence and sharing which perhaps will one day find themselves realised in another form from which their originator envisaged. Hugh Schonfield arrived at his revelation of a Servant-People though his extensive research into Christian, Jewish and Biblical history. This becomes apparent when reading this collection of essays. It has been a purpose of the Hugh and Helene Schonfield Trust to keep these ideas alive for that future generation who will one day take up the gauntlet of finding a way of creating a better and more peaceful world for all. Schonfield‛s ideas did not fall on deaf ears and inspired many of his followers to make their own attempts of making this ancient dream a reality. I have also included an essay from Sir Anthony Brooke who was a strong supporter of Schonfield’s ideas. It is hoped that the reader will find these essays both inspiring and a source of pleasure.

Synopsis Rightly Dividing the Word by : Clarence Larkin
The book does not contain the opinions of the Author, nor quotations from other writers, but is based solely on the Scriptures, chapter and verse being given for every statement. The book is "Timely" in these days of Apostasy and denial of THE FAITH. -from the Foreword The Reverend Clarence Larkin was one of the most widely influential Christian fundamentalists of the early twentieth century, and his writings remain key to appreciating the conservative religious thought that today enjoys widespread popularity. This 1920 work outlines the fundamental doctrines of Christianity as revealed by the Bible, from "The Mystery of Godliness" to "Election and Free-will." Numerous charts and illustrations explain "The Five Great World-Wide Kingdoms," "The Threefold Nature of Man," "The Satanic Trinity," and more. Also available from Cosimo Classics: Larkin's The Spirit World, The Second Coming of Christ, and The Book of Revelation.

Synopsis Pinnacles in Prophecy by : Louis Entzminger
These studies are included in the correspondence courses of the Bible Baptist Seminary of Fort Worth, Texas. Other Seminary and Bible Institutes are investigating and in several instances have accepted Dr. Entzminger’s Studies as text books in their regular courses. Dr. Entzminger’s books are just what the title implies – “Bible Studies,” and not just for reading. The Bible should be opened in the hands of the student and all references carefully studied. Invaluable to preachers, Bible teachers and to all Christian workers. Volumes of letters of highest commendation could be published concerning Dr. Entzminger’s work. We give three or four: Luther C. Peak, B.D., Th.M.’ L.L.D., says: “… more original truths brought to light in Dr. Entzminger’s Studies than anything I have read, than any Commentary or Exposition on the Bible I have ever studied.” The late Dr. Fred W. Dyson, Dean of Bible Baptist Seminary, and Director of Personnel, said: “It has been my privilege to read and teach some of the books Dr. Entzminger has written, and I say unreservedly, that I can recommend them wholeheartedly to anybody that loves Bible study. They are sound, scriptural, sane and very suggestive. No preacher or Sunday School teacher or Christian worker can afford to be without them.” Dr. Oscar Wells, Professor of Theology in Bible Baptist Seminary, says: “I have found his expositions of God’s Word – truly nuggets brought forth from the refiner’s pen.”
