Synopsis This Magic Moment by : William H. Morris (Jr.)
The Moonglows were considered, by many in the know, to be the best of the doo-wop era singers. That rare and unlikely incident led Bill to rescue Prentiss Barnes from the depths of despair. Prentiss was the original bass singer of The Moonglows and was disabled from a train car collision years before. He was now living in Jackson, Mississippi, Bill's hometown. Prentiss and Bill connected and became very close friends. From that historic encounter, Bill facilitated a reunion of Bill Pinkney of The Original Drifters and Prentiss. This led to Bill producing The Original Drifters first two gospel CDs. Over the next few years, he found himself singing with The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Drifters and Moonglows at various events. The last occasion was with the legendary Harvey Fuqua and The Moonglow's in their final performance at the Doo Wop Hall of Fame milestone moment held in Boston Symphony Hall. The real strength of this book lies in the deep chemistry that existed between Bill and each of these singers the kind of friendship that changes the world. When people of different backgrounds and races come together with the love given from above, miracles begin to happen. Includes many photos of legendary performers and events.

Abracadabra… My name is Margaux Asher—and I’m in love. Crazy, right? Me, the girl who grew up in the lap of luxury and the shadow of cynicism, is now head-over-heels for an apple farmer’s son. He rocks my world and steals my breath, and he loves me for me. Trouble is…he wants all of me. How can I commit that to him if I don’t know who ‘me’ is? There are pieces missing—and not just mine. Unless Michael opens up and shares all of himself, our great beginning won’t ever become a lasting magic tale. Don’t look at the man behind the curtain… My name is Michael Pearson—and I’m in love. Margaux is the fire of my dreams, the fulfillment of my fantasies, and the woman who’s asked the impossible. When your past has been hell, how is it possible to return to it? But fighting this isn’t an option. I have to battle my ghosts or lose her forever. Can I do it? Is love enough to change a person’s soul, or will our magic become a forgotten moment for us both?

Synopsis You Are Here by : Thich Nhat Hanh
Cut through the busyness and anxieties of daily life to discover the simple happiness of living in the present moment, as taught by a world-renowned Zen monk In this book, Thich Nhat Hanh—Zen monk, author, and meditation master—distills the essence of Buddhist thought and practice, emphasizing the power of mindfulness to transform our lives. But true mindfulness, Hanh explains, is not an escape. It is being in the present moment, totally alive and free. Based on a retreat that Thich Nhat Hanh led for Westerners, You Are Here offers a range of effective practices for cultivating mindfulness and staying in the present moment—including awareness of breathing and walking, deep listening, and skillful speech. These teachings will empower you to witness the wonder of life and transform your suffering, both within and outside you, into compassion, tenderness, and peace. As Thich Nhat Hanh declares, “the energy of mindfulness is the energy of the Buddha, and it can be produced by anybody.” It is as simple as breathing in and breathing out.

Synopsis The Magic Moment by : Natalie Gibson
Genevieve grew up knowing two things. One: It’s her destiny to do battle with the Shinar. Two: She and her Nephilim, Harith, belong together. The problem is her matchmaking magic hasn’t manifested yet, and she can’t get “Harry” to claim her. When Harry neglects to claim Genevieve on her twenty-first birthday, and her new haircut elicits more of an emotional response from him than she’s seen in years, their fight unlocks a vault of memories he’s been keeping from her. Fed up with him and his secrets, she takes matters into her own hands and decides to have sex with the first man she sees. But she gets more than she’s bargained for when this defiant act triggers a series of events that lead her toward her future, by showing her the past. Meanwhile, no one in her coven knows what her powers will be or how they are supposed to help her fight a race of beings as old as the universe who only want one thing—the planet Earth as their meal—in the exciting and steamy conclusion to the Witchbound series. Graphic, gritty, bloodthirsty, steamy, and uniquely original, the Witchbound saga is unlike any other horror/paranormal romance series you’ve ever read and is recommended for mature readers.
