Synopsis The West Stole Africa's Wealth by : Khoza Mduduzi
The West stolen Africas wealth and invested it in the IMF, World Bank and European Bank. Through the colonization of Africa, the West not only managed to impoverish the African continent but it managed to build its own world class infrastructure through ill-gotten wealth from Africa. Africa is the richest continent on the face of the world as far as mineral resources is concern, but, Africans are the poorest people on the face of the world. Its an open secret that the majority of skyscrapers in the US were built by African slaves who were bought from Gore Island in Senegal at the cheapest price and transported to the US. From the Dark Age until to the information age, the African continent is the only continent where there is no perennial political peace. Africans have been on the run from their civil wars for quite a long period of time, to the point that some Africans have emigrated from the African continent to live in the West where they are not even welcomed and accepted. African mineral resources are sufficient enough to the point that if they were equally and fairly utilized in the interest of the Africa people, Africa was going to be a poverty-free continent. Unfortunately opposite is the case, the African mineral resources continue to enrich the Westerners at the expense of the African people. Africans are political free but remain economically in prison, which they cant see, smell, touch or feel. The west destabilizes the African continent by pouring military weapons to the African continent to ensure that bloodshed does not cease.

Synopsis by : Joseph Lessard
"In December Belisarius entered Rome from the south through the Porta Asinaria by the Basilica of Constantine. The Gothic garrison fled north out the Porta Flaminia towards Ravenna. Belisarius suffered from no illusions; he knew the Goths would soon be back in force to lay siege to the city. This would be the decisive battle for Italy, and he would be prepared for it." Fifty years ago, the Western Empire fell, and now the Eastern Roman Empire is threatened on all sides. If it is to survive, a strong emperor must come to the throne, and a hero must lead the emperor's armies. In 527 CE, Justinian I rose to the throne with a vision of restoring Rome to its former glory. He soon found a general--and a hero--named Belisarius. General Belisarius gave hope to the people and once more rekindled the flames of conquest in the Roman army. Belisarius showed faith in God, unquestionable loyalty to his emperor, and compassion for his warriors and the Roman people. He was, without a doubt, "The Hero of Byzantium,"

Synopsis An Irish Literature Reader by : Maureen O'Rourke Murphy
In a volume that has become a standard text in Irish studies and serves as a course-friendly alternative to the Field Day anthology, editors Maureen O’Rourke Murphy and James MacKillop survey thirteen centuries of Irish literature, including Old Irish epic and lyric poetry, Irish folksongs, and drama. For each author the editors provide a biographical sketch, a brief discussion of how his or her selections relate to a larger body of work, and a selected bibliography. In addition, this new volume includes a larger sampling of women writers.

Dana Styles is a young black man who enters the military with a sense of patriotism and duty to his country. Unfortunately, during his tour of duty in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, Dana is befriended by three of his fellow soldiers whose inner city backgrounds and ghetto mentality soon have Dana joining their thuggish ways and getting caught up in their criminal activity. Like a fourth wheel on a vehicle heading for certain disaster, Dana rolls with his new comrades onto the fast track, where he loses himself in the pursuit of fast money, fast cars and even faster women. It's not until Dana's crew has a run in with the army's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) that Dana's comrades hit the breaks and stop their illicit activities for they all fear going to prison. All except Dana.
