Synopsis Jump Off: The Deep End by : Traci Morris
“A Good Girl Gets Caught Up...Don't Judge Me Until You've Heard My Story...” "Always perfect," Merci Townsend, gets tangled into a relationship she never fathomed with an engaged, older, high-powered business man. In the process, she earns a sordid status - Jump Off.Going against everything she was brought up to believe, her life goes into a downward spiral, challenging her secret belief that she could make it without God. Wealthy, millionaire business heir, James Jansen III, stokes the desires of women everywhere with his dynamic looks and powerful status. On the surface, he seems like the generic hero out of a romance novel. Underneath, the truth is anything but. He is unconditionally and irrevocably, human. Jump Off:The Deep End is a Christian Cautionary Tale of Fiction that is UNAPOLOGETICALLY REAL, contemporary and full of romance. With elements of humor and the sobering truth, it's inspirational without being too religious - and full of surprises!

Synopsis Off the Deep End by : Nic Compton
Confined in a small space for months on end, subject to ship's discipline and living on limited food supplies, many sailors of old lost their minds – and no wonder. Many still do. The result in some instances was bloodthirsty mutinies, such as the whaleboat Sharon whose captain was butchered and fed to the ship's pigs in a crazed attack in the Pacific. Or mob violence, such as the 147 survivors on the raft of the Medusa, who slaughtered each other in a two-week orgy of violence. So serious was the problem that the Royal Navy's own physician claimed sailors were seven times more likely to go mad than the rest of the population. Historic figures such as Christopher Columbus, George Vancouver, Fletcher Christian (leader of the munity of the Bounty) and Robert FitzRoy (founder of the Met Office) have all had their sanity questioned. More recently, sailors in today's round-the-world races often experience disturbing hallucinations, including seeing elephants floating in the sea and strangers taking the helm, or suffer complete psychological breakdown, like Donald Crowhurst. Others become hypnotised by the sea and jump to their deaths. Off the Deep End looks at the sea's physical character, how it confuses our senses and makes rational thought difficult. It explores the long history of madness at sea and how that is echoed in many of today's yacht races. It looks at the often-marginal behaviour of sailors living both figuratively and literally outside society's usual rules. And it also looks at the sea's power to heal, as well as cause, madness.

Synopsis Crucified by : Cheryl Arnold
The Love of God For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. The love of God is a stream of crimson blood poured out. It comes down from His head, over His brow, getting in to His eyes, alongside His nose, seeping into His mouth as He gasps for breath, covering His naked body as He hangs in agony and shame, pouring forth from His hands, feet and side and from the flesh gaping open where He was stricken as the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, dripping down onto the ground, then covering the mercy seat in Heaven, now covering me, and more than covering me, now cleansing me, now coursing through MY veins and pumping through MY heart, purifying me, giving me life so I can, through His life in me, also give life...giving you life if you know Him so you can also through His life give life. There is a path that is stained with Jesus' blood and leads to His crucifixion and ultimately to our crucifixion if we will follow Him. After salvation, man must be made to detest with all his being the sin nature within him. When he does he will kill it (Romans 6:6). "How shall we, who are dead to sin, live any longer in it?" (Romans 6:2). When he kills it, he allows Christ to be fully formed in him and is fit then to walk out the rest of his life on earth in single-minded devotion to Christ, longing for the moment he will be forever with Him in glory. This is the love of God. Cheryl lives in South Carolina with her Husband and two children, serving and loving the Lord.

Synopsis How Do You Want Me? by : Ruby Wax
Sunday Times Bestseller With a brand new introduction for 2020. How Do You Want Me? is critically acclaimed as brutally honest, vivid and gripping. Ruby Wax's unflinching revelation of a childhood poisoned, and a youth spoiled, culminates in a moving account of her breakdown and recovery. But How Do You Want Me? is also funny, rude and irreverent. It's unusually honest about fame and celebrity and happy to burst ego-balloons and golden myths. A brilliantly fast, furious and surprising read from the inimitable Ruby Wax.
