Just as the Myojin style admitted defeat and the Ogame style's victory in the second round of the Unabara Grand Tournament was all but secured, they found themselves ambushed by the Muho style in an attempt to kidnap Naoyoshi! On the exile island of “Ashura's Prison,” the main battle of the Grand Tournament of the Shogunate finally begins! Iori's first opponent is Kitaro Mashima of the Myojin style, with whom he shares a fated connection-Kitaro is none other than the elder brother of Sasuke, the "Crimson Ripper" of the Four Divine Spears against whom Zenmaru fought in the Grand Tournament of Unabara two years prior. Kitaro swears revenge, descending upon Iori like a wild beast, but it's nothing Iori can't manage and he quickly gains the upper hand. However when Kitaro's ear is sliced off, he undergoes a bizarre transformation and reveals his true colors!

Will the Muho style's plot to assassinate the Shogun come to fruition at last? With the help of Ikariya, a Muho spy who infiltrated the Shogunate, Jingu finally manages to corner the Shogun. However, the “fortress wall of the Shogunate” Kyoyasai Yagira now stands in his way! With two powerful warriors surrounding him, Jingu now finds himself between a rock and a hard place. Has he fallen into the Shogunate's trap…?!

The Unabara Domain, the "Den of Demons" where martial artists gather. The battle in which 31 styles compete to be named strongest in the land, The "Grand Tournament of Unabara," has begun!! The first round is a clash between four styles. Gama Kurogane, fighting solo for the Ogame Style, must next face off against the Nakaizumi style's "Mad Bow"!! Having been deeply wounded in his first match, just how will Gama's sword fare against this bow?!

The Tokugawa Shogunate has gathered a hundred of the strongest fighters to to compete for the title of strongest in the land - they call them the "Hundred Swords of the Shogunate"! Iori Sengoku, the reputed "Peerless Swordsman" also throws himself into battle as one of the "Hundred Swords of the Shogunate." The first to stand in Iori's path to Edo is the "genius among geniuses," Hien Shiba! He goes off looking for enemies in order to become stronger, only to be attacked by one of the strongest of all Muho style warriors, Kiyomori Yamanoue! Faced with an opponent clearly out of his league, Zenmaru must draw his colossal sword, the Sadanaga! The true payoff of Zenmaru's year-long training will finally be put to the test!

In the dungeon of the main castle, the battle between Iori and Ango Kuryu has begun. Kuryu comes at Iori with a slash of divine speed, produced by his super-heavy nagamaki longsword. How does Iori plan to survive an attack which he can neither dodge nor receive head-on?! Meanwhile Gama has finally made it back to Naoyoshi, just in time to rush head-first into battle with Ranmaru!

In the second round of the Grand Tournament of Unabara, the Ogame style faces off against the spear-wielding Myojin style in a series of one-on-one battles. Following the first match between Gama and Mido's "Demon Splitter" is Zenmaru, Gama's senior apprentice, versus Sakakibara's "Crimson Ripper." The battle gets tough for Zenmaru against Sakakibara, who wields his deadly modified spearhead with ease, but Zenmaru has his own reasons why he can't afford to lose...! It's the big showdown: the Ogame style vs. the Myojin style!

In the year that the Ogame style disciples have been in training, the Unabara castle town has transformed into an iron fortress bolstered by several moats and walls. Now Gama and his friends set out for the castle keep where Jinsuke awaits! While Kamedembo and Gensai distract the enemy, Gama and the rest try to force their way in through a different gate only to be met with Riko Murasame! It's time for the newly-evolved Gama to take on Riko, the master of defense!

What happens when the “Unlimited Divine Soldiers” launch an attack on the Suruga domain residence? It's the clash of Shakujii, the martial arts instructor of the Suruga domain, and Ramon, the leader of the Unlimited Divine Soldiers. Their battle takes a fierce turn and finally comes to an end!!
