Excerpt from Extracts From the Vahan, Including Answers Since 1891 The Vâhan has been the vehicle for the exchange of opinion among members of the European Section (now the British Section) of the Theosophical Society. Issued as a Sectional Journal, its circulation has necessarily been limited, but, with the growth of the Theosophical Movement throughout the world, an increasing interest has been taken in the subjects discussed in its pages, and a keep demand has arisen among students for the twelve volumes, which contain much information nowhere else available. Complete sets of volumes are extremely rare, and are not to be found even in many theosophical libraries. It is in answer to the demand for the information thus accumulated during so many years - much of it being the work of the older and more experienced students of Theosophy - that the present volume has been prepared.
