Synopsis Dream Knights by : E. Barron
Some decisions have everlasting effects. Destroying the network has ended energy mining and given dreams back to many adults. Yet, a new problem has emerged. A portal exists between the goblin kingdom and Earth, and the Dream Knights must stop goblins from freely entering. On their quest to prevent goblin mischief, the heroes discover the gate, the magical source of all portals. However, eliminating the gate would have everlasting effects. Portals everywhere, beyond Earth, would be removed. What decision will the Dream Knights make? Will it be the right one? Dream Knights is a children’s adventure series about controlling dreams and connecting fantasy with reality.

Synopsis Organization And Innovation by : Knights, David
Drawing on case studies from the UK manufacturing and financial service sectors, this book argues that the emergence and popularity of a new range of management innovations reflects and facilitates the reproduction of a neo-liberal economics that has dominated Western politics for over almost a quarter of a century.

Synopsis Sodomy, Masculinity and Law in Medieval Literature by : William E. Burgwinkle
William Burgwinkle surveys poetry and letters, histories and literary fiction - including Grail romances - to offer a historical survey of attitudes towards same-sex love during the centuries that gave us the Plantagenet court of Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, courtly love, and Arthurian lore. Burgwinkle illustrates how 'sodomy' becomes a problematic feature of narratives of romance and knighthood. Most texts of the period denounce sodomy and use accusations of sodomitical practice as a way of maintaining a sacrificial climate in which masculine identity is set in opposition to the stigmatised other, for example the foreign, the feminine, and the heretical. What emerges from these readings, however, is that even the most homophobic, masculinist and normative texts of the period demonstrate an inability or unwillingness to separate the sodomitical from the orthodox. These blurred boundaries allow readers to glimpse alternative, even homoerotic, readings.

Synopsis Hard Day's Knight by : Katie Macalister
Fairy tales were never this tough. Men in Tights never looked so good. At least that’s Pepper Marsh’s first impression when she attends the International Jousting Competition at London, Ontario’s Renaissance Faire. An unemployed and unattached software engineer, Pepper has had enough of the computer geeks in her dating pool. She yearns for a man of yore. A man not afraid to stare death in the face and laugh at it. A man with a big lance…. Pepper’s cousin promised to find her a knight in shining armor, on the condition that Pepper walk around in wench get-up. With her mind on her embarrassingly revealing bustier, Pepper promptly steps into the path of an oncoming steed…and is rescued by sexy Englishman Walker McPhail. Once the wild man of jousting, Walker has let a brush with death keep him out of the ring. Though his emotions are clad in an almost impenetrable armor, Pepper finds Walker infuriatingly sexy—and is about to go medieval on his heart…

Synopsis Tarot for One by : Courtney Weber
Courtney Weber has been teaching tarot for 10 years, and one of the things most requested of her is a good guide to doing a self-reading. Unable to recommend one, she created Tarot for One, based on her most requested and best-attended class. In Weber's clean, clear style, this book explains how to form a personal relationship with the cards, connecting your own life experiences with the archetypes, creating tarot-based nicknames for your own life's characters, and letting the voice of the tarot come through in a reading without overlaying too much of your own "stuff." She includes chapters on the history and applications of tarot, the Fool, the Major Arcana, the Court Cards, and the Suits of Cups, Wands, Swords, and Pentacles, as well as on what she calls the beauty cards and the tough cards, reversals, practice spreads, and next steps. Also included are illustrations from the Waite deck.
