Synopsis Flash Marriage: CEO's Contract Wife by : Ding DingDangDang
During the graduation party, Qing Huan had gotten drunk and had somehow managed to push down a man. Then, the god-like man looked at her coldly with a 100,000,000 yuan promissory note in his left hand and a small red book in his right hand, "Choose which one?" Qing Huan trembled in fear. "Choose ... The red book. " The man smiled in satisfaction. Three months ago, Qing Huan had married the man with the highest status and the most money in Luo City. Everyone was envious of her. Three months later, the man became a cripple. His envious gaze turned into pity. Qing Huan pursed her lips, smiling so much that her eyes curved into crescents. "They say that not only are you crippled, you're not even going to lift a single finger." A certain someone who was trying hard to do some rehabilitation work asked, "Do you want to try?"

Synopsis Wife no. 19 by : Ann Eliza Young
Ann Eliza Young (née Webb) was one of Brigham Young's many wives and later a critic of polygamy and a U.S. Mormon dissident. She was the 19th, or possibly 27th, wife of Brigham Young, the second president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, having married him when he was 67 years old and she was a 24 year old divorcee with two children. She filed for divorce from Young in January 1873, an act which attracted much attention. Her bill for divorce alleged neglect, cruel treatment, and desertion, and claimed that her husband had property worth $8,000,000 and an income exceeding $40,000 a month. (Young countered that he owned less than $600,000 in property and that his income was less than $6000 per month.) Ann Eliza Young subsequently went around the country speaking out against polygamy, Mormonism, and even Brigham Young himself.

Synopsis Ages of Woman, Ages of Man by : Merry Wiesner Hanks
The collection is organized around two main principles, stages of life and gender, and is divided into eight chapters: childhood, youth and sexuality, courtship and weddings, married life, economic life, networks and communities, and widowhood and old age. The sources address the numerous and varied ways in which women and men’s notions of themselves affected their lives, and explore how accepted norms of masculine and feminine behaviour influenced social, economic, and religious change. Guided by a general editors' introduction and then an introduction to each chapter, the user will find this an invaluable reference companion to early modern gender history.
