Synopsis Cheiro: Reading the Secret Language of the Hand by : Count Louis Hamon 'Cheiro'
Cheiro remains one of the most widely respected and studied figures in the world of futurology. His predictions were astounding and his accuracy amazing. For instance, no one believed his prediction that Prince of Wales would one day become King Edward VII of England and would die in his 69th year, yet history proved him right. The genius of Cheiro was startling to others as well. He told one Mrs. Leiter that her daughter would marry a man who would rule a country in the East; she married the Viceroy of India, Lord Curzon. Even sceptical Mark Twain was surprised with Cheiro’s readings. He visited the palmist incognito; the former did not know who the visitor was. Reading his hands Cheiro predicted that he would become a famous writer, and that his real name started with S; the author’s real name was Samuel S Clemens. Wrote Mark Twain after the visit, “Cheiro has exposed my character to me with humiliating accuracy. I thought that I would say nothing about his penetrating genius, but in the end I had to accept it.” He warned Oscar Wilde of his future disgrace; told Lord Russel that he would become the Chief Justice of England three years before he did so. Reading the palm of William Pirrie, chairman of Harland and Wolf, builders of the Titanic he predicted a major crisis with the ship. In this book the author shares his life experiences on how and where he learned Palmistry and his experiences of reading hands in England, America and Europe.

Synopsis Cheiro's Palmistry by : Count Louis Hamon 'Cheiro'
This is the complete and unabridged text of Cheiro's Language of the Hand which is regarded as the go-to Bible by both professional and amateur students of palmistry. Cheiro acquired his expertise in India. At a young age he travelled to the port of Apollo Bunder, Bombay, where he met his Guru, an Indian Chitpavan Brahmin, who took him to his village in the Konkans, where he was permitted to study the ancient books on hands and hand reading. After studying palmistry for over two years, he returned to England and started practicing palmistry in London. Soon he was enjoying a wide following of famous clients from around the world, including celebrities like Mark Twain, William Stead, Sarah Bernhardt, Mata Hari, Oscar Wilde, Thomas Edison, the Prince of Wales, General Kitchener, William Gladstone, and Joseph Chamberlain. So popular was Cheiro as palmist that even those who were non-believers had their hands read by him. Sceptical Mark Twain wrote in Cheiro's visitor's book that "he (Cheiro) has exposed my character to me with humiliating accuracy. I ought not confess this accuracy, still I am moved to do so." It is said that while reading the palm of the Chairman of the company that owned Titanic, Cheiro predicted the sinking of the famous ship. Cheiro wrote this book based on his lifetime practice and study of hands across England, Europe and America. In the book he writes, "I have endeavoured to place clearly and candidly before the intelligence of the reader the rules and the theories I have proved to be true, and from whose foundations I have built whatever success I have achieved."

Synopsis Cheiro's Guide to the Hand by : Cheiro
He was the Jeane Dixon of the early 20th century, psychic advisor to world-famous names in politics, entertainment, and royalty. In this 1900 work, a smaller companion to his now-classic Language of the Hand, Cheiro introduces us to the paranormal realm he most often utilized: palm reading, also known as cheiromancy (from which he borrowed his stage name). From what the size and shape of the thumb says about a person's character-as much as those of the nose do!-to interpreting the lines of the palm, here is everything you need to know, based on Cheiro's "practical professional experience," about talking to the hand... and listening to what it has to say.Irish occultist Cheiro-aka WILLIAM JOHN WARNER (1866-1936)-wrote a number of books, including Palmistry for All and Cheiro's Guide to the Hand. Among his famous followers were Mark Twain and Oscar Wilde.

The hand tells a story about your talents, relationships, health, and how you feel about yourself. It reveals periods of ease or challenge in your life, and it speaks about your weaknesses and the traits you need to develop. As you change, so do your hands, reflecting the progress you have made. In this comprehensive guide to hand reading, based on Ellen Goldberg’s 40 years of teaching palmistry and the Western Mystery tradition, the authors make the powerful insights of the hand accessible in an inviting and user-friendly manner. The book presents the character traits and personality archetypes associated with each of the seven mounts of the palm and shows how to determine which are most influential in the nature of the individual. The mount archetypes reveal the lifestyle, love, sex, and marriage preferences; the best career choices; and the unique strengths and weaknesses for each person. The book also examines other factors that enhance the qualities revealed by the mount types, including the flexibility of the hand, texture of the skin, and the shapes of the fingers, fingertips, and nails. The meaning of each major and minor line is described in detail as well as the influence the person’s own mind has in healing defects and obstacles found on their lines. The authors also provide accurate timing guides for each line, making it possible to locate specific events and to see how your lines change over time. Presenting the hand as a guide to self-fulfillment, The Art and Science of Hand Reading incorporates correspondences to other mystical sciences such as astrology, Kabbalah, the Hermetic teachings, and archetypal psychology. It also includes practical examples and more than 600 illustrations to show how to integrate the meanings of each part of the hand to form a complete picture of your inner psychology and your ever-changing destiny.

Synopsis Palmistry For All by : Cheiro
Everyone knows that "the face can wear a mask," that a person may be a good actor and put on a certain expression that may deceive even the best judgment. But hands cannot change as the result of a mere effort to please; the character they express is the real nature of the individual—the true character that has been formed by heredity or that has grown up with the person by long years of habit. The characteristics alluded to below are those which may be easily observed and which are aids to a rapid judgment of character and which I have never before been able to give to the public in such a concise way. The more elaborate details concerning the ultimate success of the person one is talking to, their more intimate character and their future development will be found in their proper place, in this book.
