Leonard Dietrich (or Deeter) was born ca. 1732 in Germany. He immigrated to the American Colonies and arrived at the Port of Philadelphia 26 September 1753. Leonard settled in Berks Co., Pennsylvania and later served as an Ensign in the Revolutionary War. He was married twice and was the father of nine known children.
