"Project Archaeology in Nevada is sponsored by the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management as well as other public and private partners. The goal is to foster stewardship of Nevada's cultural resources and to promote the educational, cultural, and scientific awareness to benefit diverse present and future generations.
