Crypto ’99, the Nineteenth Annual Crypto Conference, was sponsored by the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR), in cooperation with the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Security and Privacy and the Computer Science Department, University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). The General Chair, Donald Beaver, was responsible for local organization and registration. The Program Committee considered 167 papers and selected 38 for presentation. This year’s conference program also included two invited lectures. I was pleased to include in the program UeliM aurer’s presentation “Information Theoretic Cryptography” and Martin Hellman’s presentation “The Evolution of Public Key Cryptography.” The program also incorporated the traditional Rump Session for informal short presentations of new results, run by Stuart Haber. These proceedings include the revised versions of the 38 papers accepted by the Program Committee. These papers were selected from all the submissions to the conference based on originality, quality, and relevance to the field of cryptology. Revisions were not checked, and the authors bear full responsibility for the contents of their papers.

The five-volume set, LNCS 14081, 140825, 14083, 14084, and 14085 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 43rd Annual International Cryptology Conference, CRYPTO 2023. The conference took place at Santa Barbara, USA, during August 19-24, 2023. The 124 full papers presented in the proceedings were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 479 submissions. The papers are organized in the following topical sections: Part I: Consensus, secret sharing, and multi-party computation; Part II: Succinctness; anonymous credentials; new paradigms and foundations; Part III: Cryptanalysis; side channels; symmetric constructions; isogenies; Part IV: Faster fully homomorphic encryption; oblivious RAM; obfuscation; secure messaging; functional encryption; correlated pseudorandomness; proof systems in the discrete-logarithm setting.

Crypto '90 marked the tenth anniversary of the Crypto conferences held at the University of California at Santa Barbara. The conference was held from August 11 to August 15, 1990 and was sponsored by the International Association for Cryptologic Research, in cooperation with the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Security and Privacy and the Department of Computer Science of the University of California at Santa Barbara. 227 participants from twenty countries around the world. Crypto '90 attracted Roughly 35% of attendees were from academia, 45% from industry and 20% from government. The program was intended to provide a balance between the purely theoretical and the purely practical aspects of cryptography to meet the needs and diversified interests of these various groups. The overall organization of the conference was superbly handled by the general chairperson Sherry McMahan. All of the outstanding features of Crypto, which we have come to expect over the years, were again present and, in addition to all of this, she did a magnificent job in the preparation of the book of abstracts. This is a crucial part of the program and we owe her a great deal of thanks.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 25th Annual International Conference on the Theory and Applications of Cryptographic Techniques, EUROCRYPT 2006. 33 revised full papers are presented together with 2 invited talks. The papers are organized in topical sections on cryptanalysis, cryptography meets humans, stream ciphers, hash functions, oblivious transfer, numbers and lattices, foundations, block ciphers, cryptography without random oracles, multiparty computation, and cryptography for groups.

These are the proceedings of Crypto 2005, the 25th Annual International Cryptology Conference. The conference was sponsored by the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR) in cooperation with the IEEE Computer Science Technical Committee on Security and Privacy and the Computer Science Department of the University of California at Santa Barbara. Crypto'92 took place on August 16-20, 1992. It was the twelfth in the series of annual cryptology conferences held on the beautiful campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara. Once again, it was sponsored by the International Association for Cryptologic Research, in cooperation with the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Security and Privacy. The conference ran smoothly, due to the diligent efforts of the g- eral chair, Spyros Magliveras of the University of Nebraska. One of the measures of the success of this series of conferences is represented by the ever increasing number of papers submitted. This year, there were 135 submissions to the c- ference, which represents a new record. Following the practice of recent program comm- tees, the papers received anonymous review. The program committee accepted 38 papers for presentation. In addition, there were two invited presentations, one by Miles Smid on the Digital Signature Standard, and one by Mike Fellows on presenting the concepts of cryptology to elementary-age students. These proceedings contains these 40 papers plus 3 papers that were presented at the Rump Session. I would like to thank all of the authors of the submitted papers and all of the speakers who presented papers. Eurocrypt is a series of open workshops on the theory and application of cryptographic techniques. These meetings have taken place in Europe every year since 1982 and are sponsored by the International Association for Cryptologic Research. Eurocrypt '93 was held in the village of Lofthus in Norway in May 1993. The call for papers resulted in 117 submissions with authors representing 27 different countries. The 36 accepted papers were selected by the program committee after a blind refereeing process. The papers are grouped into parts on authentication, public key, block ciphers, secret sharing, stream ciphers, digital signatures, protocols, hash functions, payment systems, and cryptanalysis. The volume includes 6 further rump session papers.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Information Security and Cryptology, ICISC 2003, held in Seoul, Korea, in November 2003. The 32 revised full papers presented together with an invited paper were carefully selected from 163 submissions during two rounds of reviewing and improvement. The papers are organized in topical sections on digital signatures, primitives, fast implementations, computer security and mobile security, voting and auction protocols, watermarking, authentication and threshold protocols, and block ciphers and stream ciphers.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 23rd Annual International Cryptology Conference, CRYPTO 2003, held in Santa Barbara, California in August 2003. The 34 revised full papers presented together with 2 invited papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 166 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on public key cryptanalysis, alternate adversary models, protocols, symmetric key cryptanalysis, universal composability, zero knowledge, algebraic geometry, public key constructions, new problems, symmetric key constructions, and new models.
