Genizi (history, Bar Ilan U., Israel) explores the reasons and content of discourse on Israel of Canada's major Protestant churches, with special attention to the editorial opinions of the vocal church leader A.C. Forrest, editor of the United Church Observer. Genizi, who spent an extended period in Canadian archives for his research, details the stance on Israel of the United Church and the Canadian Council of Churches through the 1990s.
