Synopsis Receiving the 12 Blessings of Israel by : Paul Thangiah

Unique, Fascinating Look at How God's Promises to Israel Apply to Today We read throughout the Bible about God blessing his people, but most of us don't realize that these blessings are still meant for today--and for us. In this accessible study, pastor and international leader Paul Thangiah connects ancient biblical texts to modern-day life. Exploring Jacob's final blessings over his twelve sons in Genesis and Moses' parting blessings to the twelve tribes in Deuteronomy, Thangiah sheds light on the history of those on whom these blessings were bestowed. With keen insight, he examines the background of each of Jacob's sons, the significance of each name and personal situation, and what the Bible says about his descendants. Then, he shows how each of the twelve tribes saw the fulfillment of both Jacob's and Moses' prophetic blessings. Yet these blessings didn't cease at the end of the Old Testament, says Thangiah, revealing how they were powerfully and ultimately fulfilled in Jesus. You will be encouraged and inspired to discover how God's promises to his people extend beyond Israel to include all who've been grafted in through Christ--and how you can still enjoy these prophetic blessings today.

Synopsis The Nine Freedoms by : George King

The Nine Freedoms is not just another book—it is a Mission of Truth given to mortal man so that he may climb the nine steps to—Living Immortality. It is the first Metaphysical text book which clearly outlines the exact path through Evolution which man must take in order to become God-man. This book will give all who read it the major steps towards attainment of the wonderful state of Cosmic Consciousness, then later explain how to pass through the most elevated state possible to man upon Earth, that of—Ascension. Yet, The Nine Freedoms does not stop here! It goes even further than the Bible, the Baghavad-Gita, or the Buddhist conception of Nirvana. For within these pages, the sacred wisdom, kept from man since his inception upon Earth, is now given, revealing the way in which he will eventually attain the glorious state of—Interplanetary Existence. The book consists of a mystical text of profound philosophical and occult significance and a searching commentary on the most important parts of this text. The soul of this book is the Text, which was delivered as 9 consecutive Transmissions by a prominent Master of unquestionable Cosmic Status. The body of this book is made up of the commentary written as a series of carefully thought out essays which reveal the profound Truths contained within the words of the unique Text. As the body of man is a physical reflection of his soul, so are the commentaries a reflection and readily understandable simplification of the all-embracing jewels of Wisdom which form the Mystical Text. As the pages of The Nine Freedoms are turned, the reader becomes aware that he is being taken on the longest, the most dramatic, most important journey of all—the voyage across the nine seas of his Evolution. Here, for the first time in history, the passage through the classrooms of Earth to glorious worlds of lasting achievement beyond—is laid out in intimate detail. Synopsis Fire of Mercy, Heart of the Word by : Erasmo Leiva-Merikakis

To the unstudied eye, Matthew's gospel can seem a terse narrative, almost a historical document and not the tremendously spiritual (and doctrinal) storehouse that it is. Erasmo Leiva here acts as our guide, showing Matthew's prose to be not terse so much as economical--astoundingly so given its depth. The lay reader can derive great profit from reading this. Each short meditation comments on a verse or two, pointing to some facet of the text not immediately apparent. Leiva's work is scholarly but eminently approachable by the non-technical reader. The tone is very much gustate et videte, quoniam suavis est Dominus [taste and see how good the Lord is]-as it is "friend, come up higher!". The goal of the book is to help the reader experience the heat of the divine heart/the light of the divine Word. Leiva points to Matthew's gospel as being deeply ecclesial because it is first Christological. He comments on the Greek text, demonstrating to the reader nuances in the text that defy translation into English without serious revision of the text. Leiva uses linguistic analysis to aid the non-Greek reader with the literal meaning of the text; numerous quotes from the Fathers and the liturgy of the church demonstrate the way the Tradition has lived and read the Word of God. His theological reflection vivifies doctrine by seeking its roots in the words and actions of Jesus.
