Synopsis Project Management Casebook by :
Each of the cases provides new and unique challenges that have been mastered by the practice of project management. Readers will be able to apply the knowledge learned from this casebook in their work. The cases enable readers to see how and why projects are used in a wide variety of organizational settings in contemporary life. Readers are exposed to both successful and not-so-successful project management practices. The case-study approach encourages reader participation and active learning, and provides the opportunity to learn something of the real world of project management. It is essential in the curricula of project management training for both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as for continuing education, consulting, and in-house company training programs. The cases were chosen for their importance in discussing the fundamentals of project management. Most contain descriptions of actual projects, and each is followed by a series of questions to guide readers' analysis of the article to maximize the learning process.

Synopsis Wildey’s Here by : Wildey Moore
“Wildey’s Here” is the true story of Wildey Moore’s seven decades on the gun business. It charts how, without a college education, Moore became a great innovator, designing not only the first gas-operated pistol, the Survivor, but also the JAWS, Justice Pistol for the King of Jordan. The book further recounts, how, while, recovering from a stroke, international players including former CIA members attempted to seize Moore’s then multi-national business, but his faith in God gave him the strength to hold on to fight and wim back the company he had built over forty years. While “Wildey’s Here” is a story of survival, it’s also the story of how a man came to trust in the Lord during the most trying time of his life, and charts the changes Wildey witnessed in the United States as the country forsook morality and embraced immorality, starting down the road to decline. Make America great again, no, MAKE AMERICA GOOD AGAIN.

Synopsis SIMD Programming Manual for Linux and Windows by : Paul Cockshott
A number of widely used contemporary processors have instruction-set extensions for improved performance in multi-media applications. The aim is to allow operations to proceed on multiple pixels each clock cycle. Such instruction-sets have been incorporated both in specialist DSPchips such as the Texas C62xx (Texas Instruments, 1998) and in general purpose CPU chips like the Intel IA32 (Intel, 2000) or the AMD K6 (Advanced Micro Devices, 1999). These instruction-set extensions are typically based on the Single Instruc tion-stream Multiple Data-stream (SIMD) model in which a single instruction causes the same mathematical operation to be carried out on several operands, or pairs of operands, at the same time. The level or parallelism supported ranges from two floating point operations, at a time on the AMD K6 architecture to 16 byte operations at a time on the Intel P4 architecture. Whereas processor architectures are moving towards greater levels of parallelism, the most widely used programming languages such as C, Java and Delphi are structured around a model of computation in which operations takeplace on a single value at a time. This was appropriate when processors worked this way, but has become an impediment to programmers seeking to make use of the performance offered by multi-media instruction -sets. The introduction of SIMD instruction sets (Peleg et al.

Synopsis Guts by : Robert A. Lutz
