Synopsis Diamond Heart: Inexhaustible Mystery by : A. H. Almaas
The final volume in A. H. Almaas' masterwork on the contemporary spiritual path known as the Diamond Approach From one perspective, we can see ourselves merely as human beings struggling in a crowded and chaotic world of suffering. Inexhaustible Mystery opens our eyes to a different reality, one that turns our familiar world inside out. We need only explore—with curiosity and love—our true potential as human beings in order to discover infinite depth and creativity in our lives as we act and interact in the world. When time and space expand their meaning, we come to know ourselves as having infinite dimensions of being and qualities of spirit, and uncover new mysteries about ourselves, one another, and the reality we live in. Synopsis The Five Elements by : Dondi Dahlin
The Five Elements brings the wisdom of an ancient healing system to modern readers, helping them understand themselves--why they do what they do--better. Dondi Dahlin shows us that we are all born with individual rhythms that go beyond the influence of our genes and upbringing. The five elements originated in ancient Chinese medicine over 2,000 years ago--when scholars theorized that the universe is composed of five forces: water, wood, fire, earth, and metal. Understanding these elements helps us stay in balance physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. By explaining the efficacy of wood, the depth of water, the joy of fire, the compassion of earth, and the wisdom of metal, this book helps people understand themselves and form lasting connections to others, answering the age-old question of why we do what we do.

Synopsis The Five Elements and Other Essential Rules in Acupuncture Treatment by : Ulrich Wilhelm Lippelt
Acupuncture practiced in China since time immemorial has in recent years become widely known the world over and acupuncture treatment is now obtainable outside China almost everywhere. The general experience gained from acupuncture treatment in recent years however, has often not been satisfactory, which has lead to the widespread, but incorrect view that acupuncture sometimes works, but often not and the misguided idea has spread that acupuncture is suitable only for the treatment of physical pains. There are of course reasons for these mistaken views. It is ignorance of the acupuncture rules, which are indispensable for successful treatment that causes failure. These rules were laid down in the Huang-ti Nei ching of the legendary Yellow Emperor (about 2700 BC). The book explains the secrets of these rules for successful acupuncture treatment which the author has researched and practiced for more than 50 years and demonstrates how to apply them.
