Synopsis Advances in Chemical Physics, Volume 119, Parts 1 - 3 by : Myron Wyn Evans
A comprehensive and up-to-date resource for the study of nonlinear optics Modern Nonlinear Optics serves as an updated, second edition of volume 85 of the series Advances in Chemical Physics. Utilizing the research of world-renowned experts, Modern Nonlinear Optics presents a dialogue between two prevailing schools of thought: one concerned with quantum optics and Abelian electrodynamics, the other with the emerging subject of non-Abelian electrodynamics and unified field theory. The prevailing paradigm–the Maxwell Heaviside theory–is developed in fields such as quantum optics, antenna theory, and holography, but it is also challenged using general relativity, O(3) electrodynamics, superluminal effects, and several other theories. This wide spectrum of opinion is presented so that a consensus can emerge. In addition, Modern Nonlinear Optics surveys developments over the last ten years, including advances in light squeezing, single photon optics, phase conjunction optics, and laser technology. It reviews thousands of papers emerging from both schools of thought and provides the most up-to-date and complete coverage available.

Synopsis Topological Foundations Of Electromagnetism (Second Edition) by : Terence William Barrett
The aims of the book are: (1) to extend Maxwell theory to non-Abelian group forms; (2) to demonstrate that the foundations of electromagnetism are topological; (3) to show the multi-disciplinary nature of communications; (4) to demonstrate the effectiveness of modulated signals in penetrating media; (5) to demonstrate that geometric (Clifford) algebra is the appropriate algebra describing modulated signals. The book is important in indicating that the classical theory of electromagnetism, or Maxwell theory, can be developed to address situations and signals of differing symmetry form, and that different topological spaces require that development.

Synopsis Applications of Advanced Electromagnetics by : Guennadi A. Kouzaev
This text, directed to the microwave engineers and Master and PhD students, is on the use of electromagnetics to the development and design of advanced integrated components distinguished by their extended field of applications. The results of hundreds of authors scattered in numerous journals and conference proceedings are carefully reviewed and classed. Several chapters are to refresh the knowledge of readers in advanced electromagnetics. New techniques are represented by compact electromagnetic–quantum equations which can be used in modeling of microwave-quantum integrated circuits of future In addition, a topological method to the boundary value problem analysis is considered with the results and examples. One extended chapter is for the development and design of integrated components for extended bandwidth applications, and the technology and electromagnetic issues of silicon integrated transmission lines, transitions, filters, power dividers, directional couplers, etc are considered. Novel prospective interconnects based on different physical effects are reviewed as well. The ideas of topology is applicable to the electromagnetic signaling and computing, when the vector field maps can carry discrete information, and this area and the results in topological signaling obtained by different authors are analyzed, including the recently designed predicate logic processor operating spatially represented signal units. The book is rich of practical examples, illustrations, and references and useful for the specialists working at the edge of contemporary technology and electromagnetics.

Synopsis Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Quantitative, Social, Biomedical and Economic Issues by : Christos Frangos
This year’s Conference is organized by the Greek Foundation for Research in the Quantitative, Social and Economic Subjects, which is a non-profit Company with Articles of Association registered in the Chamber of non-profit organizations. This Conference is a continuation of the four International Conferences which were organized by myself during the years 2003, 2009, 2013, and 2015, under the auspices of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, as well as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th International Conference on Quantitative, Social, Biomedical and Economic Issues, during the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 in Athens, Greece. The International Conferences of the years 2017-2021 were organized under the Auspices of the Greek Foundation for Research in the Quantitative, Social and Economic Subjects which is based in Athens, Greece and has links with an International group of Academics. This Conference is focusing on the following subject: COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, ΙΝΝΟVΑΤΙΟΝ, AND GLOBALISATION: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES
