Synopsis Heads of Mission by : Gail P Guy
I consider this work an excellent, comprehensive manual for new and practicing diplomatic officers, and I applaud the authors for their foresight in producing it. This handbook should become essential reading for diplomats as it covers matters that appear simple on the surface but indeed are very critical to the successful execution of ones job as a diplomat (Keith Franklin, GCM, former ambassador of Barbados to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, former permanent secretary to the prime ministers office, and retired cabinet secretary to the government of Barbados, West Indies). This handbook for Heads of Mission is well-thought-out, clearly written, very timely, correctly sequenced and will prove to be both practical and useful (Mervyn I Assam, former high commissioner for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Kingdom, former minister of Foreign Affairs, former ambassador extraordinary, and plenipotentiary with responsibility for trade and industry). A crash course in diplomacy and the use of its tools! Gives one a practical understanding of the weighty nature of the post of Head of Mission. This handbook not only emphasizes the importance of understanding that this responsibility is full-time but also the importance of the need to prepare adequately for this responsibility. Through the comprehensive way in which the authors have dealt with the diplomatic process, it is a handbook which greatly contributes to ensuring that a Head of Mission is adequately equipped for the leadership role in the delivery of desired national outcomes (Sonia Johnny, attorney at law, former ambassador of St. Lucia to the United States of America).

Synopsis Our Lady of Unity’s Co-Founder's Formation and Mission Handbook by : Romeo Deiparine
For thousands of years, religion existed, revealing humanity’s need and hunger for the invisible and unfathomable God. Billions of souls were drawn to religion, especially when the children of Israel shared to us the invisible and unfathomable God that is always presence in our lives. Religion forms and prepares us in our long and demanding journey to God; and this book was written as a manual of divine direction, shaping and transforming our soul into the likeness of God. This book was specially made for serious souls who want to give their all to God and achieve salvation. This is dedicated solely for the greater glory and honor of the Triune God through our Lady of Unity.

Synopsis The Social Profit Handbook by : David Grant
How to Articulate and Assess What Success Looks Like The Social Profit Handbook offers those who lead, govern, and support mission-driven organizations and businesses new ways to assess their impact in order to improve future work rather than merely judge past performance. For-profit institutions measure their success primarily by monetary gains. But nonprofit institutions are different; they aim for social profit. How do you measure the success of these social profit institutions, where missions are focused on the well-being of people, place, and planet? Drawing upon decades of leadership in schools and the foundation and nonprofit worlds, author David Grant offers strategies—from creating mission time to planning backwards to constructing qualitative assessment rubrics—that help organizations take assessment back into their own hands, and improve their work as a result. His insights, illustrated by numerous case studies, make this book a unique organizational development tool for a wide range of nonprofit organizations, as well as emerging mission-based social venture businesses, such as low-profit corporations and B Corps. The Social Profit Handbook presentsassessment and evaluation not as ends in themselves but as the path toward achieving what matters most in the social sector. The result: more benefits to society and stronger, more unified, more effective organizations prepared to make the world a better place.
